Nora Roberts fans, what is your most favorite book?

I loved the bride quartet: Happily Ever After, Savor the Moment, Bed of Roses and Vision in White ( I may have that in the exact opposite order. :confused3
I also liked the Three Sisters Trilogy: Heaven and Earth, Face the Fire and I think the other was Dance Upon the Air.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Bride Quartet!! This is by far my favorite! :lovestruc

I LOVED the Three Sisters Island trilogy.

This comes in second for me!

The MacGregors... I loved those and have been reading and rereading them for years :). I also liked the Circle Trilogy.

I Love the MacGregors as well!

Wow, I never dreamed I would get this many responses! Thank you once again, really fantastic, and I've written down and saved everything. I actually just picked up a book at the library to start a new author, and she was it. Didn't imagine she was THIS popular, wow. So the overall consensus seems to be the Sister trilogy, I will start there. I hope I like it!:)

My favorite is probably the Three Sisters Island trilogy.

There was also another one out about 5-7 years ago that had to do with Scotland and vampires. LOVED that one but never heard of anyone reading it. It was quite a bit before the Twilight rage.

I really like a lot of her older books, particularly her older trilogies. I think she's gotten too repetitive in recent years and it's been a while since she wowed me.

I loved the "Born in" trilogy (Born in fire, born in ice, born in shame) and the "Dream" trilogy (Daring to Dream, Holding the dream, finding the dream.

these are my favorites too!

I really didn't like the JD Robb books, they just didn't click for me.

Is that the Circle Trilogy with Morrigan's Cross - Dance of the Gods - Valley of Silence?

I may have to put that one on my Kindle!!!!

The Circle trilogy. Good, but not my favorite.

Yes, I guess that's what it is. Reading back, apparently people didn't like that one but I really enjoyed it.

My favorite series of hers was the "Sign of Seven" trilogy - Blood Brothers, The Hollows, and Pagan Stone. They are supernatural/thriller mysteries.

As a stand-alone, Midnight Bayou was very good too.

OP here, I started this back in Dec., I ended up putting the Three Sisters Trilogy on my Nook and really liked it. Kind of surprised myself, liking the witches end of it, that is so not me! But read one after another and enjoyed it alot.

Not to veer from Nora R, but I just finished The Book Thief, wow! Could not put it down. I can understand all the awards it got, an amazing book.

I also just put the Chesapeake Bay series on my Nook today, thank you for all your recommendations and whoever suggested this one, I hope I like it! I'm saving this thread for the future and will get to all your favorites, thank you!

I think her recent release this year - The Witness, was probably one of the best stand-alones she's done in a long time.

I read about half of it...I got bored, but I really want to finish it!

I really want to like the newest series, about the brother remodeling the inn, but I just can't get into the first one.

I'm almost done with Northern Lights, this is my first book of hers, and I like her style. I'm looking for more, so your favorite please?

....shoot, I thought you'd have a POLL to go along with this thread...:confused3

A poll? She's got way too many books for a poll.

...true dat, but you could have included the most recent, or combine groups into a 'collection', ir even the most popluar....;)

Oh no, that's way too much work:rotfl2: and remember when I started this thread, I was brand new to Nora, still pretty new having just read 4 of her books.

I know I posted a few of my favorites upthread, but here is my list in order:

Sanctuary
The Search
Black Hills
Honest Illusions
Blue Smoke
Homeport
Angels Fall

These are the next two I WANT to read, I've had them for a while, I just always seem to put them on the back burner:

The Reef
The Villa

I have started The Witness, but I couldn't get into it. I'm going to give it, and the first Boonsboro book, another go.

Ok thanks for that list. So Sanctuary, I haven't heard of that one, is that your most #1 favorite?

Yes, I couldn't put it down. I can't say it's her best STORY(I think Honest Illusions is with the character devolpment and such) but it was my favorite.

Another fan of the Bride Quartet series - definitely some of her best, I think.

Teresa

:thumbsup2 I loved these too. Even though it was pretty obvious who everyone was going to end up with, i still liked them. The one thing I liked about them was her attention to detail as she described the jobs of each of the women. She must have done her homework.

I think her new quartet about the Boonesboro Inn is based on her real life bed and breakfast place that she owns. Some book reviewers on Amazon were complaining that the new books were nothing but advertisements for her inn. Who knows though?
