Nooooo! I might have to pay Rack Rate !!

Called today to try and get a last minute room for check in Feb. 16-20 and will take anything, but nothing with a AP or FL code paying rack rate really hurts when you have gotten such good deals in the past. For what she quoted me for a moderate I could have the WL with a code I know its the breaks for trying to go last minute. Is anyone going to cancel ????? Let me know.

Did you try breaking up the dates and see if any of the dates have rooms available? You could do continuing reservations with part being AP and part being rack. -HM

I know how you feel. We are going Feb 18-22 and having to pay rack rate.

It took over a week of calling twice a day (AM & PM) to snag my room at an AP rate - saved me $200! We're going Feb 18-20. My daughter decided that she wanted to go to Disney for her birthday instead of having a party. I started with a rack rate at Coronado Springs (too small for our party of 5), then a AAA rate at OKW last Monday and finally found an AP rate at OKW this Monday. I felt like I had won the lottery!

A lot of rooms became available on Tuesday. I found different availability on the website vs. CRO - very curious.

I too suggest you keep trying. It certainly couldn't hurt. I am leaving tomorrow and even though this weekend was blacked out for AP discounts, I did eventually get one at CSR.

Our family has managed to fit ourselfs in many times exactly how you are attempting to do now

HAVE FAITH YOU'LL GET WHAT YOU'RE LOOKIN' FOR!!!

also many times we resort hop...like HM said see if different resorts have one day openings or something and just hop around the world!

You might be able to rent points from the DVC rental page. A number of people might be able to get you into a Studio last minute. Just a thought.

I agree with the above poster-try to get some points on the DVC trade board. My FI and I just booked a last minute studio at OKW for Feb 24 through someone on that board-for only $99! Good Luck!!!
