I need some budget board help...I purchased the Nook as a family gift for Christmas this year and now that I have purchased it I have pretty much exhausted my budget...but I am thinking that I am going to need some sort of case or cover for it right? I do not want to spend a lot of money and the ones on the B&N website are way too costly for me...can anybody recommend a good, cheap case or cover to protect the Nook? TIA!!:goodvibes

Do you sew? On nookboards.com, there is a woman that has 3 great patterns for the nook that you can buy on her etsy.com site. http://www.etsy.com/shop/BirdifulStitches?ref=pr_profile. I think that there may be other pattern sellers as well on nookboards.

My neighbor is a sewer and I commissioned her to make one for me! I love it!

I just ordered one from etsy - it hasn't come yet so I can't speak for it specifically, but I love it in the photos! Inexpensive too! The one I got was $14.99 - do a search on "nook covers" and you'll see many to choose from.

I do not sew...but does a sewn case protect the nook enough?

I think that it would depend on the material and thickness that is sandwiched between the layers of fabric. Also, some people actually put cardboard in there as well.

I got DH a M-Edge cover for his nook off Ebay for 9.00. I paid 39.99 for the exact same cover for my nook (previously). So anyways you might want to do a search on Ebay :)

I just ordered one from JavaEdge. They have quite a few marked down from just a day or two ago. If you use the code Javo10off you can save 10 percent.

I bought mine at Wal-mart. I would love to have a Disney themed one! Anyone seen any??:surfweb:

I got my cover on Ebay. I really like it because it has a full bottom, not just corner straps, so it cannot fall out...

I got my cover on Ebay, it came with the screen protector which I really wanted too. I really would like a Vera Bradley cover now!
