NOOK Color

My DH has ordered me a NOOK color for Christmas! I'm thrilled!!! Our library system has the right books for the NOOK, and I can't wait to get started using it!!!

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for the NOOK color? I think that someone once posted a link to the NYC library system. Is that something that I could sign up for here in podunk Utah?

I am curious whether any libraries have current best sellers for Nook or only unheard of authors or classics. I would purchase the nook and pay to join a library with a good e selection

It's on my list for Christmas too. I think the library people were talking about was in Philadelphia. It was $10 to "join" the library and then you could use all the e-books. What a GREAT idea for a revenue source for a library.

We have an extensive library system in our county and a good selection of ebooks so I am looking forward to using those.

Pioneer.utah.gov is an online, digital library that provides access to Overdrive which is one of the big vendors for libraries for ebooks. It looks like all you need to be is a utah resident with a library card. Overdrive is compatible with the Nook and has bestsellers in ebook and audiobook form. Otherwise, go to www.overdrive.com and there is a zipcode search to see if any libraries in your area provide access.
