Nonstop flights between SNA and MCO

I just ran across a news item that Breeze Airways just began nonstop service between Orange County, CA and Orange County, FL. They're playing up the association with Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Here's an article on SNA's website:

Anyone wanting to do both Disney resorts in one day would have to go to Florida to begin, because the eastbound flight is too early to visit DL before leaving California. But one could spend much of the day at WDW before flying back to SNA and catching a couple of hours at DL before it closes for the night.

Flight prices are reasonable but until they start offering Wi-Fi which was promised over a year ago, I can’t consider switching to flying them out of sna for WDW visits despite the great airfare prices.

Looks good price-wise. First class for the beginning of August to coincide with the DIS special event on August 4th, is only ~$460 round trip.

The reviews of this airline are abysmal. I won't fly them until they are far better established, have WIFi and food for purchase (they still have NO food for a 5+ hour flight?), and they have a staffed customer service phone line. By then I suspect their prices won't be so low.

This is a great option. We flew out of LAX three times last year and each one was full of angst. Delayed flights (6 hours), closed security at Delta terminal causing everyone to have to enter through International and bus to Delta concourse...ran to gate and our seats were about to be given away. Funnily enough not one flight had Wi-Fi as they were having "issues". This was only LAX to MCO (not our return). Delta and American! Mmmm we may really consider this option. Thanks for posting.

I've heard of Disney fans visiting both DL and WDW in the same day, just for kicks. Has anyone here ever done it?

I am going to WDW in less than 2 weeks and I looked at Breeze a bit since I live right by SNA. But in the end, I decided Delta nonstop out of LAX was a far better option. Between no WIFI or entertainment options and the lack of food options, I was just not at all interested. Oh and the price for my dates were really not any better than Delta when I started factoring in the extras (seat selection, bag (I get 1 free bag with Delta), having to purchase food), it was not worth it at all! I will give them another look for my Sept airfare, but thinking it may be LAX and Delta again.
