Non-traditional Poly food options: Room/Pool Service and Kona Sushi Bar

Inspired by a similar thread about the GF...has anyone here ordered food at the Poly pool? Is there a full menu? Does it take DDP/DxDP?

Has anyone ordered room service for breakfast or lunch? How was the food and did you have to wait a long time?

Is the Kona sushi bar open at lunch? Has anyone ordered food here and taken it to the pool? Does anyone know what you can get for a DxDP (deluxe) credit (adult *and* kid's)?

I don't think they have any food at the Poly pool like some of the other pools (Kidani has food, SAB has food for example) -- if they do, I never noticed - I just saw drinks.

We did room service @ the Poly last trip - it was fine, nothing special. They did irritate me though because my DH was sick that day and they wouldn't let me order any breakfast items (I was hoping to get him some scrambled eggs & toast) because it was past breakfast hours. They did finally agree to bring toast. But that did make me mad - I mean how hard is to scramble an egg?

I've never gotten anything from the sushi bar, only coffee & pastry in the morning.

We ordered room service for dinner and it was pretty much the same as Kona. However, one trick was we asked if there was any way to get the bread and butter from Kona and we could! It was so awesome to munch on! I think you could probably get anything from the restaurants if you just ask. No food at the pool that I saw. You could easily walk to the counter service and get something. Not sure about take out!
