Has anyone ever done a non park trip to WDW and if you did what did you do? Curious? thanks

When we go down we usually only go into the parks one or two times during the week.

We enjoy renting the Sea Raycers from WL. We've rented bikes in WL campground. Going to DTD for lunch and an ice-cream is always fun. Just hanging out at the pool and using the Cummunity Center and sports areas provided take up the day too.

That is exactly what we are doing next week. We are staying at SSR for 2 nights, Nick hotel for 2 nights, BCV for 1 night and OKW for 2 nights. (I know it is alot of moving around but it was a last min trip and that was all that was available). We plan on doing alot of swimming, playing mini golf, watching wishes from the poly beach, possibly renting a boat one afternoon, going to DTD, enjoying the boardwalk the eve we stay at BCV and just relaxing. This will be our 1st non park trip and we are going to do all the things that we never seem to have "time" to do on our park trips. I am so excited!!

our family is having a nonpark trip in a few weeks. we can't wait. we are planning on hanging out and enjoying resort at bc and okw. we might do a segway tour at fw. one of favorite things to do is resort hop. we will rent a boat at poly for gf and watch wishes from poly. can't wait.

Non-Park trips are my new favorite thing. I live within 30 minutes of WDW so I can visit the parks anytime.
Getting time at the resorts though, that I can only do once in a while.

I enjoy the pool, read the activity sheet to find things to do at the resort like Campfires, Pottery, Crafts, Bingo, rent Water Sprites, take a tour, enjoy the pool some more.

Its very relaxing.

When we go in February for 2 weeks, we are planning a lot of non park time. The one thing I am looking forward to is a tour of Lakeland College. It is designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. We also love Winter Park for a lazy day wandering.

We just got back from a "no-parks" trip about 2 weeks ago (feels like a lifetime already:sad1:). We had a great time and I got some great ideas from the folks on this board. I did a trip report, if you are interested here's the link

I am not much of a writer, but maybe you'll get some ideas. Have fun.

Florida Southern College is neat. Lake Hollingsworth that it sits next to is really nice too.
I work right near there.
They have a Cardboard boat race every year on the lake that hysterical.
My son's team sunk theirs last year.. It was a hoot.
