Non-Park Hopper Tickets

One advantage to sticking to the base ticket - Stock up on fastpasses all day, take an afternoon break, and ride all evening on fastpasses. Makes for a great night at the park. Janice

If people do this it explains why some fastpass tickets close/run out later in the day. I am surprised that this is allowed. We had some we did not use last trip (like if our ADR meal ran over what was expected time wise), we did not try to redeem our fastpasses because they were a half an hour or hour later than our timeframe. I hope that people taking advantage of the system does not result in the fastpass system being removed!

We go at opening, and have not had to use fastpass, but we collect for the big attractions. When the next time opens for us, we get more and use them at night. They have never stopped us from using them in the evening, and we've had some with return times at 10:00 am and have used them at 7:00pm, without any problems. It's a great way to tour at night and some of the major rides are the best seen at night. Janice

You have never been stopped or turned away by CM's when doing this? :confused3 If people do this it explains why some fastpass tickets close/run out later in the day. I do agree with what your saying-that very thought crossed my mind as well. We do the same-we return for our time or not at all. For me though, it does explain why Fastpass may in fact not be so fast at all sometimes...cause we've had to wait in a long fastpass return line before too. The only time we were given the go ahead to come back during a time not our own was when a ride broke down and they handed out fastpasses for it to return at a later time/date. I could see if the fastpass collecting becomes a trend that Disney would catch on and really start turning people away.

It pays to be at park opening and tour when the crowd still sleeps. Not one cast member has ever stopped us and I don't feel guilty enjoying the benefit of arriving early. We don't spend our day collecting passes, but, if there is no line for a big attraction, we grab a pass for later, and enjoy the ride. Although you obviously don't agree, we find this to be a smart way to tour. To each his own. Janice
