I have 2 non expiration tickets from years ago. How do I use it? I also want to add just a one day for my daughter. Can this be done?

You'll have to exchange the tickets for current tickets.

Unfortunately, you can't upgrade them. Even though they don't expire, they still follow the 14 day upgrade rule.

We went to WDW in January and I had one partially used non-expiring 10-day park hopper. There were 4 days left on the ticket.
(it was great, back in the day, when you could get a 10-day ticket and they never expired. The tickets were good for two trips and saved us money and then the Disney Corp figured this out)

Our trip was for 5 days so I bought new 5-day tickets for the family. I only had 4 days on MY ticket so I asked if I could add a day to the ticket. They told me the ticket was too old and that they couldn't do it. I had to buy a 1-day park hopping ticket for something like $135.

Yeah... That would have been the time to get your next 10-day no expire ticket and start using it. (Although today's price for that ticket would choke a horse. Not worth it IMO)

You can still buy non expiring tickets. You just can't do it online.

(It sounded like the poster above -reebs2- thought those were not available any longer.)

yep. around 2005, i got a 10-day no-expire for around $350. now they are more than double that price. (of course, in a few more years, $70 per day might seem like a great deal...)

You can buy non-expiring tickets from 3rd parties online.

In my opinion it's worth it. I got a 10-day with PH and WaterParks for $765. Given the current price at the gate for a 5-day ticket with same options of $422....my second trip will only cost $343. Put that on top of the fact that when I return a few years from now, the tickets will cost way more than $422.

Even better, there's no way I'll use all 10 of my water park visits in two trips....so if we go to Orlando for any other reason, like Universal...we get "free" days at the water parks.

Actually, as long as the tickets are unused and are MYW tickets, they can be upgraded. The OP didn't state whether or not the tickets had ever been used. Although in re-reading the original post, she says she wants to add a one day for her daughter, which sounds like she wants to buy a one-day ticket for her daughter, not add a day to a ticket she already has.

Or not used the NE ticket and saved it for another 4-day trip in the future, and buy a new 5-day ticket instead.

Because you paid for a separate ticket, you ended up paying more for the NE on the old ticket and the new 1-day ticket than you would have if you had just gotten a 6-day ticket before and a 5-day ticket this time.

you have to be careful with NE tickets because if you use them wrong you waste money.

Yes you got it. I have 2 1 day left non expiration tickets and my daughters and I r going to disney in august but will be there 2 days before our official trip. Dh has a convention. So I was thinking of using 1 ticket for myself 1 for my daughter and I just need one for my other daughter.

I know they are available. There just used to be no extra charge for the non-expiring ticket.

Probably right. Might have been a bad choice.
