We are less than 2 weeks out and did not purchase ECBI. We're the first flight out of Midway heading to MCO and the last flight out of Tampa coming back.

We're a family of 4 -- would love to sit together, but hoping we can at least get 2 seats together times two....

I will check in exactly at the 24 hour mark.

I want to know too! We didn't buy it either... 4 weeks away.

I'm interested as well. We leave in 13 days!! I bought EBCI for the flight home, but we don't have it for our flight out. It's only three of us, so I figured even if we get B group, we'll be able to find seats together.

I'll post here tomorrow morning (Sept. 3rd) as I'll check in for Saturdays flight out. Its probably more of an issue coming home from Orlando though. I can check in at 24 hours on my cell phone.

Today, for a flight from MDW to MCO, my dd received A48 & A50 checking in at T24.

Oh dear. That's good that you're still in A, but that seems pretty high to me for T24. I still don't know if I want to spend the money!!!!!!!

They are flying out of midway though which is a MAJOR hub for SW.. Good chance others flights originate other places and they were checked in before they were. If it was a first flight of the day with an empty plane / no connectors that would be different.

Yeah, I'm opting not to do EBCI for my flight out of SDF to MCO. I'm about 17 days out before I can check in but will post when I do check in.

Still iffy on if I want to do it for MCO back to SDF. We are leaving on a Mon. and coming back on Mon. so not sure if those are busy travel days or not. I know it's usually Sundays and Fridays.

Just checked in for our Labor Day weekend/Saturday morning flight that leaves out of Nashville at 10:05 am. The plane will be coming from Detroit, so it will already have some passengers on it when we board.

I checked-in right at the 24 hour mark and we got A45, A46, A47. I'll be asking the folks boarding ahead of us whether or not they paid for EBCI.

Now for our return trip out of Orlando, we did pay for EBCI since we'll be in the parks when we need to check-in and 1/2 of our party is on another flight. Online check-in would be a little messy to coordinate with 6 people vying for one iPhone while riding the teacups. :rotfl:

We just got back from a 2 week trip.

We flew out of Buffalo checked in at 24 hour before flight and got A49 - A52.
Flying back to Buffalo checked in at 24 hour before flight and got B7-10.

Got seats together (2 and 2) 1/2 way back on the plane during both flights.

I don't mind the high "A's". I checked my dh and I in today (MDW-MCO) at T24. We received A44 & A45. Every flight I flown since EBCI was started, I've paid for it. We were never higher than an A20 (which was great!), but I decided this time to take my chances and see if I could save the $40. There will be times when I will add it, and times when I don't. I'll be going back to WDW during Thanksgiving. I did purchase EBCI for that trip.

For our Sept. 4th PHX-MCO we got B8,9,10 checking in at 24 hours. Return trip checked in again at 24 hours and got A57,58,59.

Both ways had no problems getting an entire row for the 3 of us. Flights were full but at the time we boarded there were quite a few empty rows still left.

We fly out tomorrow from Midway and I just checked us in. We got A 33-35:banana:

Unless there was an extraordinary number of medical preboards, there would be approx 47 people onboard when those people got onboard. And that's IF the 15 of the (what I call) fancy-ticket people are on the plane...if not, then it's less.

Unless the plane was nearly full from a stop before, this is NOT a problem. I was on a plane between Seattle and San Diego...we stopped, and there were 37 of us that remained on board...we were sprinkled throughout the plane, and you could not tell that there were 37. The plane looked empty. (and we had plenty of time to look around, as we got to that stop 15 minutes early, and then there was another 20 minutes after that before boarding)

DS and I were 29 and 30 on our way home, and there were about 5 preboarded people judging by the airport wheelchairs on the ramp, and we sat in the 6th row.

Well just checked in today for our flight out tomorrow afternoon flying out of SDF and got A44-A48.

Not to bad IMO.

From MDW to MCO (first flight out Monday morning) -- A42-A45.

From TPA to MDW (last flight out Saturday) -- A52-A55.

No problems getting seats together -- even towards the front of the plane!

Just checked in at exactly 24 hours for our flight tomorrow. We have the first flight out of Midway - and got a48, a50, and a52.

Not at all sure why they weren't sequential, but whatever :confused3

I just checked in at exactly 24 hours for our flight out of Indy tomorrow. I had purchased EBCI 10 days ago for myself, but not for DH or DD. (I'm flying with a lap baby and wanted to make sure I get a spot where I'll be comfortable with her. Not that important if we all sit together and I figured they would most likely board with family boarding even if they had B passes.) Anyway, I got A23. DH and DD got A32 and A34. Guess I wasted my $10!
