Non DVC-Member, can I rent and use

points for my next vacation? I hope to be heading to WDW in Sept, and have been very intreagued about the DVC, and would like to try it before I considered the hefty buy in price.

Additionally, typically how many points does it required for a weeks stay?

Sure you can rent points. I would recommend checking out the Rent/Trade Board to see what it available. The number of points required will really depend on when you want to go and the the type of accommadaions needed and the resort. OKW has the lowest points, BWV standard is next, then BWV preferred, BCV and VWL are all the same. There is a points calculator at the top of this forum. If you know when you want to go and where, it will calculate the number of points required.
