You can get Bonamine at Wal-Mart or Shoppers. It's a dark blue box (visual learner here).
It was on the shelves (i.e. I didn't have to ask the pharmacist). A few years ago I did ask for the generic, but the pharmacist looked at me like I had two heads. I gave DH a Bonamine each day, since he doesn't like rides, and he did fine. I use it on the day that I do Mission Space-orange level- with the girls.
We can get a similar product up here in Canada called Bonomine. It comes in a blue box and you usually have to ask for it at the pharmacy but no perscription required. I can't travel without it! Gravol puts me to sleep for 12 hours but this works great for me. I've never tried the patch so I can't help you with that. I always say to try what ever you are going to use before you go so you know how it will effect you during your trip.
Gravol makes me sleepy -- and not a restful sleep -- so I actually take my DDs kids gravol. It has enough strength to keep me from getting sick on the plane, but doesn't grog me out
this works for me too...the first 2 yrs I went to Disney I didn't really go on anything cuz I felt like pooh pooh when I came off the ride. So I tried this last yr and it worked
Kurby Petro Canada sells them also (Herbal Gravol)--just picked up a bottle tonight--last trip to Disney I realized they have all the extras you might need but WOW for a price!! This time I'm making up a small emergency make-up tote with all sorts of stuff
mole-skin -- ahhh my aching feet
Advil---drinks at the Poly
Imodium --hey I'm on the free dining plan
shampoo and cream rinse --"You lost my luggage"
mini toothpaste--those bus rides with non brushers is obvious!
