Non-Disney ? : Where do you store your powerwheel jeep?

I'm looking for some help from parents! My dd wants a powerwheel Jeep for Christmas and Santa doesn't know where we're going to store it!

The garage is full and I've heard you can't keep them outside due to their battery. Where do most people keep them?

We actually have stored ours outdoors for 3 years under the rear overhang of our house. We do bring the battery indoors however. Not a big deal at all.

I didn't realize you could easily remove the battery! Yay, I can probably leave it in the space under dd's swing/slide playset.

Thanks! I was starting to think I would have to buy a storage unit (garage for the jeep)!

I *wanted* to buy a little garage for DD's car! But we got it to fit in the garage. It goes in the front - there's no way it would fit beside both cars.

My husband built a shed out back for lawnmower, snowblower, tools etc. That is where we keep ours.

The battery should be charged every 30 days for at least 24 hours in order for it to maintain it's charge. We do this at the end of each month in the winter.

We do bring our jeep into the basement in the winter months.

We bought the shed from Costco and it works perfectly for a Jeep garage!

remove the battery and store it at the temperature recommended and then buy the Fisher Price Car cover that has the draw string and park it..

We have the rubbermaid shed. The battery is always in the house.

Thanks for all the ideas! We checked out the "cars" this weekend and dd seems to like all of them. We decided Santa will buy the John Deere Gator only because it received great reviews and the back has a "truck bed." DD loves to help in the flower garden so hopefully she can use this to help us haul flowers or supplies to the back of the yard. And more likely it will haul stuffed animals.

When I asked her which one she liked the best she moved from the Barbie jeeps to the volkswagon and even the Cadillac Escalade! I don't think she'll care - she just wants something that goes!
