Greetings old friends and new friends!

After 7 straight years of Disney only trips, we are planning to take an "everything else" Orlando/Cape Canaveral trip. (DS4 and DD2 are now DS11 and DD8)

We are planning 1 day at Kennedy Space, 2 days at SeaWorld/Aquatica, and then 4 days at Universal Parks.

We discovered the Florida Fun cards don't cover Kennedy Space Center. We are also discovering (even studying the MouseSavers private links) that buying the SeaWorld/Aquatica and Universal separately seems to actually be cheaper than the multi-park combo passes.

After getting a headache trying to figure out the best combination on our own, I am curious if any of you savvy budget board members have found a good way of putting together a good ticket combination for this type of a trip?

Thanks so very much in advance!

Joey, DW, DS11, and DD8

In May last year we did 2 days WDW, SeaWorld and Aquatica, Typhoon Lagoon, DisneyQuest and 2 days at Universal. After much calculation I found the best ticket option for us was to buy tickets thru Undercover Tourist.

I did the SeaWorld and Aquatica combo ticket that was actually good for 14 days. I did the Universal 3 day ticket.

I took my 13 & 15 yr old nephews. This was their first trip to any of the places we visited. They enjoyed everything but I would say their favorites were the waterparks and DisneyQuest.

I'm not sure if this will help you any but our Costco (Virginia) has Universal Orlando 3 day park hoppers for around 135.00. I'm not sure how that compares to the online price.

Last year over Easter we stayed onsite at Royal Pacific. It was not cheap at that time of year but I did not want to deal with lines. I found that buying tickets through Universals website was about the same as UT.

Have you looked into the Go Orlando Card? It includes Seaworld and Kennedy Space Center plus a lot of other stuff such as Boggy Creek Boat Rides,LegoLand, Ripleys, Wonderworks! Search for go orlando card.
I think you need at least 2 days at Kennedy Space Center. There is A LOT to do and see there. You CANNOT get it all done in one day. Are you military? There are a lot of discounts for military too.

I agree with the two days at Kennedy Space Center. We were there a day and a half, and DH will probably go back while I am at a convention on our next trip.

If you have six months or more to go before your trip, you may be able to request KSC tickets through your congressman, if that program still exists after budget cuts.

I got the free tickets through my congressman! Saved $200!
