I have another question regarding photography

I have been lucky enough to today book Randy Chapman for my Intimate wedding

My question is simple Do I let Disney know ahead of time?

What is the desired etiquette

Thanks
Sharon

Unless you want 2 photographers at your wedding, you'll need to let Disney know ahead of time. You may be able to get them to credit you back the cost of the Disney photographer towards a honeymoon shoot, or a MK or Epcot Bridal Portrait shoot.

Also, I am not sure about intimate weddings, but for custom weddings Disney charges you an escort fee to have an outside photographer photograph your wedding.

Congrats on booking Randy. I know you'll love him!

Anyone know more about this? Do they discount the price? I honestly would not mind having both, but if I could get a honeymoon package instead, that would be awesome. I am having Randy Chapman come too.
Thanks

To be honest the only thing I know about this is that sometimes the Intimate Wedding Coordinator will put the Disney photography credit towards say the MK castle photo shoot or a honeymoone shoot anywhere else. BUT they are not obliged to the only thing either of you can do is check with your Disney co-ordintor and yes it is a must that you let Disney know that you are using an outside photographer as they have to get the photographer to sign a waiver.

Let your EM know that you are using Randy, hopefully he/she will offer you the credit towards another Disney photography package. Thats what we did and I'll always remember the MK photo shoot, it was unbelievable!

Just an additional point that wasn't mentioned (oh wait, Fantasia Sam did). You do have to let Disney know and they will provide you a form that Randy needs to sign and return. It is their "outside vendor" contract information. Disney will send it to you (then you fill in your name and wedding date), you then send it to Randy and he'll sign it and return it to Disney. They will need it on file in order to allow him to photograph your wedding.

We traded our Disney photos in for a Honeymoon shoot. It cost $50 for for the shoot and it includes 20 pics.
