Non-Dairy Milk?

I have a friend who's going down for her first trip to The World in November. She and her family are vegans and she was wondering about finding non-dairy milk for her kids.

Does anyone know if the resort food courts or any quick server or table service have non-dairy milk options?

She's fine with them only having it once a day if they know where to look. They're staying at the Art of Animation.

TIA!

It's available pretty much everywhere. I haven't stayed at AoA, but all the other food courts I've been to have had it. If she doesn't see it in a case..just ask. Also, Table Service restaurants usually have it on hand.

Perfect. Thank you. I also advised her that she could get some delivered along with a case of water to the hotel from a grocery delivery service if she's worried.

Also, I think I've seen it in drink cases at Sunshine Season's in Epcot.

I apologize for piggy-backing on this thread, but on a similar note, does Disney sell lactose-free milk?

Let's just say, I like cheese, but cheese doesn't like me.

I'm pretty sure they do. I feel like I've been offered that, but I can't say for certain where.

In all the parks and at Disney Springs Starbucks is an option - they have soy, almond and coconut milk always for mixing in drinks, they will just fill a cup of it. If nothing else, they can order a cup of the milk from there.

I have never seen it and have looked for it. So if you figure it out, report back!

I don't like most milk substitutes and cheese doesn't like me either. What I really need is mac and cheese that tastes like the real thing but doesn't cause instant bowel death:crazy2:

For smaller portions, usually a lactaid tablet or two will keep my stomach from going completely bananas. However, ice cream, a milkshake, or a bowl of cereal? Oh dear.

i'm pretty sure the ice cream shop on main street has rice dream and tofutti as an option. or at least it used to a few years ago.

Earth Balance non dairy Mac n cheese is amazing and tastes enough like the real thing that my dairy eating family enjoys it too. Neither they, or I enjoy other substitutes. However, I'm suddenly having a hard time finding it. It would be great if Disney offered it..

Oooh, thanks, I'll keep my eyes peeled!

They definitely have soy milk readily available. Other milk alternatives are hit or miss. My twins can only drink almond milk and we've seen it once or twice, but not regularly. Since PP mentioned Starbucks I'll have to see what they carry next time we are there.

As for lactose free milk I have seen it listed in years past on the dairy allergy sheet that was issued by their Special Diets department. Worth emailing them to check. It's not likely something you'll see on the shelves though so you'll have to ask.
