We loved the lanyards on the WB PC repo. Mine is hanging from the mirror on my dresser, covered in pins :)

I guess I'm going to have to get more aggressive if I am ever going to get a pirate:

We too booked our flights direct with DCL as soon the TA was released. We paid $450 return from Toronto pp. Great deal!

Were watching the temp this week in the different area to give us something to compare too when packing...

I see a lot of people are booking flights independently. I have booked our flights with Disney via a travel agent and it seems (at this early time anyway) to be way cheaper than trying to book the flights separately.

Im wondering if its because we are flying out of Canada?!?!?!:confused3

I'd appreciate any comments or thoughts.

Thanks!

Good thinking! I'll have to start monitoring the current weather of our ports of call to get a better idea of what to expect.

Your flight from Spain to Toronto, is it direct? Just checking my options now for flights, may want to stay in Europe for a day or two before coming home.

Mike

hey there Mike,
We are (as far as I was told by DCL) direct from Toronto to MCO and Spain to Toronto. We opted to stay an additional 3 days in Barcelona at the end of the cruise to explore the city with the kids. The only thing I have found with booking air via DCL is that you do not get final flight info until about 45 to 30 days prior to cruising.
I almost forgot, we are also flying in a day early and staying at the Hyatt..

Hey Realfam! We are also planning to stay in Barcelona for 3 days post-cruise to explore the city with our kids (ages 3,5 and 7). Where are you planning to stay? I found some great websites re: Barcelona for kids (googled it). It seems like there's lots of fun things to do for families there...can't wait!!

Kim
p.s. I'm a Canadian from Ontario too (St. Catharines), although married an American and live in the US now.

Hi (kim) Bumblebee3,
DCL has made all the arrangements for us. I believe they have us staying at the AC Diplomat (I thought it was a little pricey, but that was the cheapest that DCL offered. Hope it includes alot).
We haven't even considered or researched what were gonna do there. Certain share/post any links or materials you come across. We'd love to read it. Our kids (DD's) are 14 and 2 (time of cruise). We have not really put any thought to this trip since we booked it. It seemed so far away at the time, but know were under the year mark:banana::banana:

When did you book the cruise? I think the first few days this cruise was open for booking, the prices for flights were very inexpensive.

Right now I'm looking to fly into either Newark or Philadelphia from Barcelona the day we disembark. Historically, rates are no more than $500/person. I'll be sitting and waiting for rates to be released for that day.

I'll probably wait on our flight to MCO until about 3 or 4 months out from next April only because we'll probably be flying Airtran from PHL.

BTW, I got connecting 10s yesterday for this cruise. Sweet deal, too. I can't believe what a great price this is!

Michelle2 - My husband and I have been enjoying your trip report :surfweb:. Thanks for reposting your report link.

Anyone know when they'll start releasing excursion options?

I booked in December. On-line then (and now) it showed round trip from Montreal at $788 per person. However I just checked my paper work and its shows we are paying 932 pp for flights, but the cruise portion is lower. Both comeout to the same total, its just divided differently :confused3

According to Disneycruise.com:

Access opens 75 days prior to embarkation, 90 days prior for Castaway Club members, and 105 days prior for Concierge Guests. Also, note that access to My Cruise Plans closes 3 days before your cruise departure date
