A couple of days ago, I was telling someone, who I had not seen in about 5 years, about the wedding and the reception.

A bit odd to say, "Yes, a group of people we met on a cruise threw a wedding reception for us."

Quick question - have been looking at a thread about FE Gifts and my mind is flowing BUT have no idea of how many are even possibly on the cruise. I looked at the first page for the FE list but I know she is still working on it (because I am not listed) but I did not know if I missed an announcement or anything of how many we may have participating at this point (and I tried the web site but know some have dropped out)

AND yes I know we are still more than a year out - so I am not doing an exact count but was just wondering if there was some place I can get a round about number at this point. And I am not trying to rush anyone - just wandering When I count on the web site I gt 123 total cruisers but from the number that I am seeing here is way way less.

so any specualtion?

Oh no don't apologize! I was just trying to speculate and afterwards I realized that so much time is left and so many things can change that I am not going to even think about that part BUT I will start working on my Secret Mickey gifts and plan them out and can then personalize them later when I know my people but I have all 4 of us participating and if I do things for say 10 days that is 40 items so that will keep me busy for awhile with the planning of that. And besides I already bought one item for the FE when I was at a Disney sale (but only bought 100 of them so I may have to supplement that) and if we end up doing groups for FE, etc. etc.

Like I said I have been going to some sewing classes and reading the boards on FE gifts and my mind is running - We still have over a year - so just ignore me as my husband says - I over organize the cruises way too much and too early - he thinks we should not pack till 2 days before - and I start 2 months before!

I know some of you were discussing Aer Lingus. We flew Aer Lingus for our Med cruise and we were trully surprised by their great service. The ground personnel at JFK was the only dissapointment of the trip, but, the flight attendants were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and their seats were comfortable. Besides, we can now say we have also been to Dublin, even if it was for an hour and a half . We are going to try to get seats with AA out of JFK, since they flight directly to Barcelona, but, Aer Lingus is our plan B. I would definitely fly with them again.

Good to hear about Aer Lingus. We're still on the fence as to whether we're flying right home or spending time in Europe.
The personnel at JFK stink no matter what airline you fly. I can't tell you how many luggage problems I've had at that airport!

You know for luggage I am really trying to plan out for all 4 of us to have a rolling suitecase that can be carried on and one LARGE suitcase to check. Then we could check them or carry them on except for the one large suitcase and then also take duffle style that can be used for "over flow"

I am thinking for formal nights - accessories! I can change the same outfit around depending on the accessories I use. This trip is going to take a little more planning for clothes becuase of limited space. I would love it more if I could get everything in ONE large suitcase - but I know that is dreaming. I think though I will invest in one or two really nice outfits that can be mixed and matched for everyone and then use the laundry

We went to Europe in 2007 and spent 3 weeks there using the train (and one plane) and each of us had a backpack and one carry on size suitcase and we made it - the only problem I had was I ended up wearing white to my sister's wedding in Austria that was planned on the spur of the moment (literally decided while we were traveling to Europe) and I had only one dress with me - but it was a casual wedding and in the pictures realized my brother also wore white linen shirt and he lives there and could have worn something else - the picture of the 3 of us all in white to some degree is actually really nice. Oh and she knew that was all I had before I went and she said to come anyway - ther were only 25 of us there (including the 4 of us and the bride and groom). So this time I will make sure I have a pastel I can mix and match with my white linen skirt.

I'm not 100% sure she will do both and is just holding reservations till she makes up her mind...I'll be seeing her on Friday or Saturday, so I'll find out what her story is.

Monica, I put some round trip flight info into the system using Barcelona as the starting point as you suggested...and the rates were lower...using my non-stop British Airways flight too!
