Hi all! Try not to leave me a message on facebook, just send goodbyes on here! Blake has been playing with his tackle box for the past few hours and I've been making sure I have Book 6, 7 and 8 of Sookie packed up and I also have Pride and Prejudice just in case! We got all our groceries today and Blake got a cooler with wheels to double as our refrigerator in the car and his beloved fishing cooler for the fishing pier! Oh that boy...
We're leaving early in the morning, probably around 7 or so....but we'll be back on Friday, then heading to my parents house for the weekend. So goodbye my gnomies! Hope you all have a great week!!

Oh, Denny. I can't see him as Alcide, but I think that is only because he is Denny from Grey's to me....if you know what I mean!

I had a busy not so great day. I am feeling completely overwhelmed by everything I have to do in the next two weeks before Disney. I also was complaining about my heel to my Mom. She took me out to look for better shoes for Disney and I hate to admit this but I think it's my crocs causing my heel pain. Putting on those other shoes were like pillows. So now I am looking for some more affordable shoes to get ASAP.

Oh, LL, I am sorry! I know that overwhelmed feeling -- that is part of my problem as well -- that and the stupid weather and just being in a general cranky-butt mood.

Good luck with the shoe search! Wouldn't it be nice if your heel pain was solved by a good pair of supportive shoes?

CP, My mom thinks to think that my heel pain would be solved with new shoes. She doesn't think the crocs are supportive enough. UGH! I tried on some Tevas today and I couldn't believe that I could walk with no pain in my heel. My problem is that I am a size 11 and I could have gone up to a size 12. Which the store didn't have. Boo. So I found a pair of different Tevas in size 12 for $35 so I just ordered them. Worst case, I deal with the heel pain and wear my crocs. I can do it. It's Disney.

Teva Omnium. They were super comfy. The ones I ordered are more of the traditional Tevas with the straps if you know what I mean. I need the supportive foot bed so I think they will work just as well.

My mom doesn't have the Mush ones but she has other Teva flip flops and she swears by them. She says they are so supportive. It is what she is bringing to Disney.

Hey girlies!!! Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful Mommies out there!!!

I have been busy today celebrating Mother's Day with my Mom by having a Girls' Tea Luncheon at our favorite tea place---me, Mom, Kris (my sis), and Megs.....it was so much fun!!! This has become one of our favorite new traditions!!! Afterwards, the four of us went through some Market homes in a local Cavalcade of Homes going on this month......I think I found our new house!!!!! It is everything we want----and so beautiful!!! I can't wait to take Tom back through it soon. The boys had a Golf Tournament today--and luckily they had beautiful weather--so it was just us girls and we had so much fun.

I have no idea what is in store for me tomorrow, but I know Megan is excited!!! I can't wait--she is so cute when she has a surprise for someone!


LL--BTW, I have used my Tevas quite extensively.....LOVE THEM!!!! I think you will too!

So I watched Grey's Anatomy yesterday. Cried like a baby. Did you know that they set up a fake Mer/Der wedding site on the knot? It's cute.

C, nope, the stormy weather doesn't stop -- I was looking at the ten-day forecast, and thunderstorms are predicted everyday. We are just a big, soupy, humid tropical mess right now.

Grey's was a tough one, wasn't it? I can't wait for Thursday's two-hour sobfest.

Good Morning Gnomies.

I am very much looking forward to Grey's this week. That's about it. I have so much to do this week and that makes me cranky.
*Marc & I have a meeting on Wednesday night then Marc has to go to work for 8 for a training
*Thursday night Marc has the wedding rehearsal, I don't have to go to that. He also has to pick up his tux and take my engagement ring to be inspected.
*Friday night we have the actually rehearsal dinner
*Saturday....BIL graduates from College in the morning if it rains then they don't have a ticket for me but Marc will go, if it's sunny and they have it outside then I will have to go. They aren't calling the weather until Friday. And then the wedding in the evening, we are not sure what time Marc has to be there. He'll find out Thursday but if it's before the graduation gets out then he won't go.

It doesn't seem like a lot when I type it out but it's much more than I usually have to do each week. Plus, Marc & I don't have a whole lot of time to spend together before I leave. All his days off next week are jam packed with stuff.

I was supposed to go over to the inlaws today for a lunch but I am not going. I need a day. Marc is fine with me not going so I am going to take advantage of that and spend today cleaning, organizing, packing and DISing.

Have I mentioned....I am so ready for Disney?

LL, your list of activities this week doesn't look long but it also doesn't account for all the hours you have to put in at work too.

Hey C! How is your weekend?

The boys brought me breakfast in bed this morning along with a few cards. Patrick made a really cute one at school where he traced his hand and glued it to paper but curled down the middle and ring finger so it looks like the sign for I love you. Greg also got one of those recordable cards and the boys both recorded a little message. The boys painted birdhouses for me and I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a card from Greg.

My friend didn't call yesterday so we'll see if I hear from her today. I'm sure she is busy with all kinds of relatives in the area anxious to see her and meet her new little one. In the meantime, the boys and I will go visit my parents for a little while and deliver some plants (they raise flats of plants in the greenhouse at Greg's school and after they are done with their sales to the public, Greg gets to go in and take anything left)
