No twilight check in

Hi, we have booked our flights with BA flying from Gatwick North terminal. I have been told that we can book on online 24 hours prior to flying which we will do.

We will be traveling to Gatwick the night before and would usually check our bags when we arrive so the next morning we can wonder over to the terminal a few hours before our flight.

So my question is as we will have to check our bags in how much time will we need before our flight.?

Why is there no twilight check in? You can normally check in at the BA desk at gatwick North between 4pm and 10pm for flights before 3 ish the next day...

Hi tttessa, I phoned and asked BA and she said no twilight checking but we can store our bags in their lockers at a cost of £10 per bag.
I will go look on there website.

Hiya - our documents for our flight say:

• Airport desk check-in opens 04:00 in summer, or 04:30 in winter (and between 16:00 and 22:00 for flights departing before 15:15 the next day) and closes 45 minutes before departure. Location - Zone A. If you have bags to check in, you can print your bag tag at a check-in kiosk and take your tagged bag to a bag drop desk.

tttessa, just went on their web page says the same. Guess i was mis-informed which is surprising really from a large corporate company like BA, especially to what i would say is a pretty standard question.
