We are spending the whole day here until park closing so we hope to get lots done.
YES!!!Definitely the best french press. We went for dinner at Kona Cafe this last trip and I really REALLY wanted to the whole press, but didn't think it would be wise for night, so just had a cup.
Alicia, you can get a cup at dinner? I had no idea. We'll be having dinner there in July and I'll definitely get a cup. You are probably right...a full pot would NOT be a good idea at dinner.
Sounds like a good plan to me!
I thought for sure that the lawyer who was leaving would be the senior one. That is hard to lose a good employee like that. They will really feel sorry when you retire.he one I've worked with for for the last six years is a real sweetheart and I've grown very fond of him and we have a great working relationship. I found out two weeks ago that he is leaving the firm.
We've never eaten here but it sounds like a fun place to eat. I think next time we go with a large family group we'll be sure to give it a try.We have a 4:00 p.m. ADR at Teppan Edo.
Hi Kathy! Popping in to catch up. Sorry - I'm really bad with PTRs. As you may have noticed, I can barely manage to update my own.But I am here, and I am definitely looking forward to your trips and the TRs that will follow.
Roni, please do not worry about it (I did see your last update by the way; when in July are you there? Any chance our dates overlap?).
All your plans sound so great - gets me excited to be going back to WDW for a change!
Thanks! When was your last time there?
Cracked me up to see the pic of the BWI quiet pool - that is the pool Willow was sure had a shark in it one night and got out 5 minutes after we arrived at the pool.![]()
We loved Teppan Edo when we went there in January! Another great day of plans!
I can't wait to hear your review on Teppan Edo!!!!
Mo, I'll let you know if it is as good as the first time.
Actually your AK sounds perfect. Get all the good stuff done and run over to EPCOT! here's hoping for no rain!
Sounds like a nice morning at AK. What, no EE (says the girl who came off of it in December feeling like she was going to puke)? Just kidding, I know you don't like that one.
Ariana, you'd probably have to give me something to get me back on it.
Teppan Edo is one I don't think I will ever make it too. I'm just too picky. I've tried the hibachi style restaurants before and just did not like the food at all. It's too bad because I hear a lot of good stuff about the restaurant and it looks like fun. Oh well, I'll just enjoy reading about it in your TR!
Enjoy your trip to AZ!
Thanks; so excited to see the girls and how they've grown since last June.
Sounds like a fun day at AK and Epcot.
I'm sorry you're not a fan of EE. DH and I love it. We've showed Madelyn You Tube videos of it. At first, she said no. It was too scary. Now she wants to ride it and is ADAMENT about it. She's 45 inches now and that means she can ride just about anything. We shall see.
I used to love it. Then I got old.I bet Madelyn will love it if she goes.
We went to Teppan Edo for my husband's 40th birthday. We absolutely loved it!! Sadly, that was three years ago and haven't been back. I will be waiting to hear about your review!
I hope you get back some time. I promise reviews of all meals within the TR.
I can't believe your Arizona trip is right around the corner!! You and Mark deserve this!!
Have a safe trip to AZ!
Thanks, Alicia.
No morning at AK is complete without seeing FotLK and riding KS.
You are absolutely right.
I feel like Teppan Edo is best to go to when you have a big group. The more people, the more fun it tends to be. And it's really nice of you to pay for the meal. I'm sure it'll be much appreciated.
We usually go to the one in Naples when we stay on Marco. But we didn't go last year (long story), and I know Mary likes this place so I'm game.
Those outdoor kitchen booths are an attraction in and of themselves. If you can't get any FPs, you won't be disappointed having to wander the WS and try them out.
Put me on the list of Teppan Edo lovers... we had a great experience there. The food was great and the kids had a great time. I looked on all ears and I'm not sure if the menu has changed but they had a cooked steak sushi roll that was awesome.
Gee...nothing like ruining it for me. Sushi?
I can't believe you don't like EE.... it is so much smoother than SM.
Hoping you have a wonderful, safe trip to Phoenix!
Thanks, Wendy.
Starting out the AK day with a little Dinosaur -- lovely choice!
Why thank you ma'am.
Hehehe no, I knew you wouldn't be doing EE. Know how I know?? Because I love that ride!Just kidding, I remember from previous stories, but I do love that ride. (Of course!)
Good point. Actually, as stated above, I used to love it...then I got old.
I can't say anything about Teppan Edo, but have heard so many good things. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
I thought for sure that the lawyer who was leaving would be the senior one. That is hard to lose a good employee like that. They will really feel sorry when you retire.
Trust me, if it were the senior one, I'd be out the door the same day as him.
