I'm a relative newbie here, but thought this would be a great way to get to know everyone here and to help remember our trip for when I finally get around to scrapbooking it. I hope everyone enjoys.

Let me start with the cast of characters.

There's me - Mrs. Incredible. I'm 31 and have to admit that I have not been to WDW in 15 years. I have loved Disney forever. My favorites are the Beast and Eeyore.

Hubby - Mr. Incredible. He's 31 and this was his first trip to WDW. He had been to DL once when he was about 5. It took me over a year to convince him to take this trip, but by the end of the trip, he had signed the dotted line to be a DVC member.

DD 4 - Violet. She loves all things princess related. Like Violet, she likes to disappear when embarrassed or hurt or anything like that.

DD 2 - Dash. Right now Toy Story is her favorite and she spent most of our time in WDW pretending to be Buzz saying "To infinity and beyond". She is like Dash in that she is quick and likes to run any time she gets a chance.

DS 9 months - Jack-Jack. He is just discovering things and his sisters are making sure that he is exposed to all things Disney. Like Jack-Jack, he is the quiet one in the background for now. We are just waiting for him to turn into a little fireball.

Here is a family shot from our trip:

This was the first trip for all the kids and Mr. Incredible. It took me over a year to convince him that we should go, but he loved it. I booked the trip last October and we traveled Aug 25-Sept 11. It was amazing.

Hope some people stick around to hear about our wonderful no thrills adventure.

Welcome to DVC, your kids are the perfect age to join. We have been members since 1992, and now my daughter (24) just brought her first DVC.
We have enjoyed it for years and love going (just at a slower pace)

Great start! What an Incredible picture!!!

Thanks. The wonderful DISigners on the Creative Designs Board came up with the shirts (and the ones I put together for every day for the kids).

Thanks. We are looking forward to see how our experiences change as the kids grow. I'm already starting to plan the next adventure.

After a year of trying to convince Mr. Incredible that we should go to Disney (he was one of those that said they were too young) and almost another year of planning, it was finally time to hit the road.

We are a family that drives places instead of flying. So, we hopped in the car to make the 3660 mile round trip from Colorado to Florida. We left a little later than I had hoped, but we made it out the door. We hit Topeka the first night and Clarksville, TN the second night. While in Clarksville, we decided to try out a Cracker Barrel. We had never been there so felt the need to see what all the hype was about. We don't get it. The third day we decided to stop and stretch our legs in Chattanooga.

We decided to check out the Chattanooga Zoo. No offense to anyone who lives in Chattanooga, but anyplace that feels the need to put a raccoon in a zoo, is really not worth paying money to see.

Driving through Florida is quite an interesting experience. As we were driving on the turnpike, we saw something in the road. When we got a little closer, we realized the something was moving. That's when we both realized that yes, it was a turtle crossing the road. A few miles later, there were zebras in the yard next to the road. It was a nice change from the horses and cows that we were used to seeing.

We had planned to arrive on Sunday. I had done my online check-in and everything. But, as we were approaching on Saturday night, we realized that we would make it then. So, we gave the resort a call and we were able to get in a night early. Soon, we saw a wonderful sight.

And then after getting just a little bit lost - stupid GPS - we saw another wonderful sight.

The CM's were wonderful and were able to arrange for us to stay in the same room for our entire vacation instead of having to move again the next day. Very soon, we saw this.

Violet and Dash made themselves right at home and were able to quickly find the Disney Channel on TV.

Our true Disney adventure was set to begin the next day.

Sorry there weren't a lot of pics for the trip. I do most of the driving and hubby doesn't feel the need to take pics while driving. I just can't explain it to him.
