So, who has seen Spider-Man? Crazy movie! It's a real roller-coaster. I'll admit that there may have been TOO MUCH going on and I prefer the "smaller" movies usually, but I've got to admit that I was heavily invested int eh story and they even made characters that were previously lame actually cool. The movie is an heroic effort all round and really has it all! It'll bring you up and then down, then back up again. I can't say it's my favorite, but it was definitely something!

Let's keep spoilers under spoiler tags please, once we get to talking about them.

I've never seen any of the non-MCU Spiderman movies, so I didn't know who some of the characters even were. With no emotional connection to them I was just rooting for them to hit the button already. 😁

I was spoiled for this ahead of time, but I WAS super excited to see Charlie Cox/Daredevil. That was my favorite cameo.

Oh yeah,

It does kind of require you to have seen the previous Spider-Man versions. I liked how they had Andrew Garfield dumping on himself as the lamest one, which is true, but they still built him up and let him redeem himself a bit. Honestly, MCU movies these days pretty much require you to have seen EVERYTHING, like if you haven't seen the first two Spider-MAn movies, Doctor Strange, Avengers Infinity War & Endgame, you'd be lost anyway.

Seeing Daredevil was awesome! When he caught that brick...!

Also, this movie is absolutely tearing up the box-office! Forget doing "good for the pandemic" numbers, this thing is doing just plain excellent! It has the second highest opening weelend at $260M and worldwide bowed to $594.2M - and it hasn't opened in China yet!

We absolutely loved it--- yes, parts did drag, but for the most part--- thought it was amazing !!!

Best Spiderman movie and MCU movie ever done...absolutely Spiderman at its core, which was so nice to see...perfect trilogy arc...

Just saw it today, wow. Not what I expected. Several scenes dragged a bit/could've been a bit shorter, but I just loved how much time ALL the characters got.
I had strong suspicions both Tobey Macguire and Andrew garfield would be in it, but had NO idea or expectations of all the time they'd get in the movie, and how big of a part they'd play in the plots, etc. that was awesome! I have not seen the Andrew Garfield movies, but plan to. I was hoping they'd get in Myles, but that's ok. all the time these other 2 had was great. And Tom Holland was so great as always

Just saw it with the kid off from school. Now we've seen Spider-Man in every MCU movie starting with the introduction in Captain America: Civil War. I've seen the entire Raimi trilogy in theaters, but never got around to seeing the second series. I saw a bit of that once at Costco where it was being shown in the TV section. I wasn't even sure what it was when Lizard showed up but then someone explained it to me.

A lot of us watching recognized the various characters. I'm sure quite a few who might even be too young to have seen the Raimi trilogy have seen it on video.

Not necessarily a spoiler, but we must have had a sizable number of people watching who understood Tagalog.

Now I suppose that James Franco is a little too toxic now.

I did enjoy this meme, though the movie did clearly show that Peter's troubleshooting process for the problem was not great. 😄

(I tried to spoiler tag it just in case and it didn't work, but the spell is clearly featured in the movie trailers so I don't think this is actually spoilery)

I am not s Spiderman fan, but I wanted to see this. I took my best friend. We sacrificed the good seats AND the good concession to see this movie. Worth it!
