I have been trying for campground reservations for Nov 17-23, and none are available. Would you please let me know if anyone is cancelling for that time period?

I have a December I'll be cancelling soon. (We have two reservations and I am just waiting on final word from friends about cancelling the second. I'm about 99% sure we'll be cancelling.)
Thanks for the phone number. I had just been trying to look at the DW site online. Do the phone operators get updated info sooner than the online site?
There is about a 90% chance we will cancel a Nov. 10-18. It is a preferred site. Let me know if you are interested and I'll let you know when I cancel.
when you call, see if they have any of those days... if so book them and just keep trying to add to them!! Sometimes when you give them a week at a time, you will find that only one day is not available... but if you ask for individual days and book what you can, it might be easier. good luck!!
Thanks for the thought of booking any of the days our of travel. I ended up being able to Nov 4-9; we will keep our eyes open for the 10th...if we don't end up with it, we will just head home and make a stop to tour some place!!

glad I could help I have found that usually if you keep calling it will happen.. we have also been able to check on line... sometimes you have to really play with the dates.. like put in for more time than you really want and then cancel the days you don't need. For some reason, Disney does not like people to just stay a few days which is what we like to do because we live so close. Hope you have a great trip!! We are headed to the fort in the am
On our last trip, we were able to book all but four of the days over the phone but had no luck with the other days that we needed. We continued to call with the same results so I started checking on-line and was able to get the rest. We then called the ressie number and had them transfer all of the days into one ressie. You could try on-line. It took me several weeks, checking several times a day. Good luck!
When there are cancellations the reservations are released in the computer system the next morning at 7am. That is why it is important to be talking to the CRO at 7am. First come, first serve. Disney does not allow someone to cancel their reservation and give it to someone else. As mickeymouse1017 stated, you can make multiple reservations then have them combined into one. I firmly believe it is better to deal with a live person when making the reservation instead of online. I think the response is faster. Also, when talking with a person you can see if a AAA discount is available for your dates. You can't do that online.
