no-sew/ez sew angel costume please

Found out yesterday my DS will need an angel costume for his upcoming Christmas program. No real suggestions from the teacher. Just a hand-drawn diagram on the note.

I vaguely remember reading in one of the parenting mags about making one from pillowcases, but my searches have turned up empty.

It doesn't have to be fancy - elastic @ the neckline, simple gold braid trim on the sleeves & hemline (hot glue gun should work for this!). We don't have to worry about wings.

I'm hoping there's a creative someone out there with a hint or two!

Go to a fabric store or Walmart and pick up a yard of mustin and
cut out a neckhole big enough to go over the head trim with gold braid...get an extra half yard to use as a belt/sash....should be inexpensive!

i had the same idea... you can also use a sheet and cut a hole in it and tie it with cord, or you can just drape the sheet around him toga style and secure it with cord. hope this helps.
