My daughter's travel toddler bed broke over the weekend so I just called disney to see if I could get a roll away bed for her to use in the master bedroom. She said.. no.. .there are NO roll away beds at OKW.... is that really true????

I don't think they have roll-away beds at ANY of the DVC resorts. Could be wrong but I don't think so. You have to provide your own bedding if you're not using what is provided.

DVC's don't provide rollaways. You could bring a twin-sized air mattress (ours only weighs 6lbs with pump) and sheets with you. It's not a problem since you're not exceeding the per-room capacity. They will give you extra blankets and pillows.

What about the Pack 'n Play?

She's too long for the pack n play. I think I got the toddler bed back together so let's hope so once she lays on it!! The walmarts down there have it in stock for $22 should I need to replace it. I think that's our best option. ABBF wants $55 for a toddler bed so I'd rather just replace it.

I never knew dvc doesn't have roll aways!! What about at shared resorts like the BWV or BCV?

DVC does not provide roll aways for any rooms even if they are part of a shared resort. If you want a bed arrangement other than what is in the room you are expected to bring your own including linens. If you stay in a 1 or 2 bedroom that allows 1 more than bed spaces allow you are expected to provide the beds and linens for the extra person.

They do for the hotel portion of shared resorts. Early on they had planned to with BWV but right around opening (I don't recall if it was before or after), they announced no roll aways. It's current DVC POLICY, as I understand it, not to allow roll aways. I have read of a couple of instances where they did at mixed use properties but it was always where a mistake occurred on Disney's part.

Good luck we have taken the heavy comforter off the bed, folded it to child's size then put sheets and blanket over it. They will bring more sheets blankets and pillows if you ask. Kids and adults are usually so tired they will sleep as soon as their head hits the pillow.

We were able to finagle one at BCV last April. But OKW does have the sleeper chairs.
