Hey guys!
Hope you all are having a good day and aren't stressing about applying/phone interviews too much!
I had my interview today at 2:36 and I feel really good about how it went. However, I've been thinking about it (I mean how can I not) and it is starting to strike me as odd that I didn't get any role specific questions.
She asked about my top roles (and oddly only took my top two, she later noted that my third was merch because I had high interest, but that was really it) and I told her attractions, preferably something spieling, GMR, or more character based like a TOT Bell Hop. Then we went on to my second, BBB/PL. She originally only said BBB so I asked if the PL is included in the casting section for that role. She said yes and asked if I would prefer the PL over BBB. I said it would be interesting to work with more boys and girls, but that either would be fine with me because of the character work behind the role (I'm a theatre major).
She then went back and noted that I had mentioned TOT and asked if that would be my top location preference and I said that I love the ride. She then asked if I would like GMR and I said I would love it so she put that as my first attraction preference... She then asked me about other spieling attractions to gauge my interest in them and asked if I was sure about playing a character within the roles. I said that that is what I am extremely interested in.
There were obviously other questions and what not, but I never got the role specific questions like what to say if a child is too short for an attraction or what to do if a child is shy/scared at BBB/PL.
Has that happened to anyone else? What do you guys make of it?
Thanks in advance!
Good luck to everyone still applying and interviewing soon!
