I think I would like to go on a Disney Cruise with no ports. Just float for a week. Enjoy everything the ship has to offer. Am I the only one?I know we do not have to leave the ship, but we would still be tied up and not out to sea.

You're not the only one! This will be our first cruise and I have no desire to get off the ship. We paid a lot of money to spend time on the ship and enjoy what it has to offer, why would I want to get off and pay more for excursions and such. The ship is the BEST excursion of all!

I would definitely do that -- the only port I would want is CC. It'd be great to have it start out with CC and then end with CC and have sea days in between. I'd definitely be interested in that cruise!

We are going on our 2nd Disney Cruise in Feb 05 & have already planned on staying on ship entire time (except CC of course) :D We are doing the Western again so I king of have the "Been there, done that" attitude.

Count me in!

Me too!! Me too!!
We usually skip Nassau and just pretend that's a day at sea anyway. I dearly love Castaway Cay, but on one cruise we forced ourselves to stay on board just so we could see what it was like and report on it. It was VERY difficult not to venture off the ship, but there was plenty to eat and do.

and just think...less money with no port fees to pay!

Marilee (who is barely over with her Mawrch cruise, and waiting to book an accurate summer date when dates are released)

Some law of 18xx (I bet Horace HorseCollar knows!) precludes this - Sorry. Ships of foreign registry have to go to, I believe, 2 foreign ports if they embark / debark at a US port.

I could be wrong, but I remember reading this some time ago on this board.

Hi,

Count me in!!!! I did this on our last Wonder Cruise (11/02). It was fun!!!

Well, there's no reason you can't do that! Plus, since the majority of the people will get off at each port, you can have the ship "to yourself".

It's only ONE foreign. THat's why NCL (or is it RCL) goes to Fanning Island on their Hawiian cruises (until their USA registered ships come on line and they won't have to leave Hawaii).

DCL currently does have at least two stops in foreign ports (3 nights: Nassau & CC, 4-Nassau, Freeport(somtimes) and CC, East: St. Maarten and CC, West: Grand Cayman, Coz and CC).
