My Home
Wednesday, 11/14
I woke up early this morning, because I wanted to make sure we got to Epcot early. I was missing it after being away for one day. If you guys don't know already, I'm obsessed with Epcot, I consider it my home! (Along with the Wilderness Lodge, and the Tower of Terror...oh, and the Beach Club as well!) It's my favorite place in the entire world, I could probably spend my whole trip there and be ok with that. So I was anxious to get there early!
Somehow, I managed to get Brandon up and we got to the park at 8:30! I didn't mean to get there that early, but hey, I'll take it, that meant we could go straight to Soarin' and hopefully get decent FP's! Which is basically my whole reason for living, to ride Soarin' as many times as possible in one trip. (And the Tower of Terror. Imagine those 2 rides in the same park? I'm not sure I'd ever be able to go anywhere else!)
They let us in about 5 minutes early and we went directly to Soarin' and grabbed some FP's for 9:55, and then got right in the standby line. Brandon wanted to eat but I convinced him to ride Soarin' once and then we could have breakfast. He doesn't understand my obsession with this ride, and it seems like the more I like it, the more he fights it. He doesn't do that with any other ride, but it's like he has some personal grudge against Soarin'!
I tried to take some pictures while we were on there, but they didn't come out that good:
Still, they get the point across, and they make me wish I was in Disney right now. I'd give anything to be waiting in line for 60 minutes to go on Soarin' instead of being stuck here, in CT.
When we were finished, we went over to Sunshine Seasons to grab some breakfast. Usually I get the strawberry shortcake for breakfast whenever I go there, but for some reason, that morning I decided to get the breakfast panini, which is what Brandon got also.
It's really good, but it is SO filling, there's no way I can possibly eat the whole thing!
We still had a little time before we could use our Soarin' FP's, so we decided to go on Living with the Land!
I really love Living with the Land, but sometimes I forget how long it is! When you're ready to go on Soarin' again, sometimes this boat ride seems like it takes an hour!
That house! It's so cute!
I love the greenhouse section, with all of the plants, it's fascinating how they grow everything in there, and how they get things to be so big!

I should really do the Behind the Seeds tour someday, but I feel like if I'm going to do a tour, I should start out big, like the Keys to the Kingdom tour or something, you know?
(Haha, this update is all over the place, I apologize!

)
Finally, after our hour long boat ride through the Land, we got off and ran back to Soarin'. Well, I probably did, and then I'm sure I had to stop and wait for Brandon, since he just takes his time.
With our FP's, we were on and off Soarin' in no time! I was hoping that wasn't the last time I would ride it on our trip, since I knew the next time we would be back at Epcot would be Friday night for magic hours...I'm sure I could find a way to squeeze in one more ride, right?
Well, I couldn't really dwell on that for long, because we had a few other things we wanted to do in Future World! Like go see Nemo and Friends!
I always try to get a good shot of the jellyfish, but this is the best I can do:
I keep saying someday I'll have a real camera so I can take nice pictures, but it just never happens! I would have no idea what to do with a real camera anyway, so I guess it's kind of pointless for me to buy one!
I love the Nemo ride, but that "Big Blue World" song is so depressing to me. I don't know why, but I just can't listen to it. I always skip it if I'm listening to "Four Parks, One World" it's just really sad to me.
(And now, because I just had to write about it, it's stuck in my head!

)
Anyway, we went to visit the manatees for a while, they are just so pretty and graceful!
And then we went to find the real Nemo, who was being really cute and hiding in some flowery thing in his tank:
It was adorable, it looked like he was almost laying on it, like a bed or something! I'm sure he was just hiding from all the people staring at him, though!
When I was finally able to drag Brandon away from the Seas (he loves this pavilion, not because of Nemo or Crush, but because he likes to see the actual animals, I'm sure he could spend hours there!) we decided to stop at Club Cool for a few minutes!
My favorite is that Fanta from Costa Rica, I drink cup after cup of that stuff when I'm in there. Sometimes I try the other kinds, but I usually just stick with the Fanta!
We finished drinking our soda, and crossed over to the other side of Future World.
I kept hoping for a Test Track preview that week, since it was supposed to be opening later that month, but no such luck!
We stopped in Mouse Gear for a few minutes, where I saw a shirt I considered buying:
but I didn't bother. I hope they still have it the next time I'm there, because it's so cute!
We looked around for a little while longer and I bought a few things. I didn't feel like carrying them, which is usually why I buy stuff on the way out of the park, but luckily Brandon had his backpack so I just stuffed everything in there!
Finally, it was after 11 and we could go to the World Showcase!
Up next...the World Showcase!
