I'm so enjoying your trip report! It sounds like you had such a great time! Jennifer

Thank you! We did have an amazing time, I love Fall/Holiday Disney trips! :cool1:

They were, I don't know what Brandon's problem was, I think he just wanted Earl of Sandwich! :rotfl:

I love TrenD, everything is so pretty! The Christmas store is the BEST! Someday, when I apply for a job at Disney, I'm going to request to work in one of the Christmas shops! :thumbsup2

My Home

Wednesday, 11/14

I woke up early this morning, because I wanted to make sure we got to Epcot early. I was missing it after being away for one day. If you guys don't know already, I'm obsessed with Epcot, I consider it my home! (Along with the Wilderness Lodge, and the Tower of Terror...oh, and the Beach Club as well!) It's my favorite place in the entire world, I could probably spend my whole trip there and be ok with that. So I was anxious to get there early!

Somehow, I managed to get Brandon up and we got to the park at 8:30! I didn't mean to get there that early, but hey, I'll take it, that meant we could go straight to Soarin' and hopefully get decent FP's! Which is basically my whole reason for living, to ride Soarin' as many times as possible in one trip. (And the Tower of Terror. Imagine those 2 rides in the same park? I'm not sure I'd ever be able to go anywhere else!)

They let us in about 5 minutes early and we went directly to Soarin' and grabbed some FP's for 9:55, and then got right in the standby line. Brandon wanted to eat but I convinced him to ride Soarin' once and then we could have breakfast. He doesn't understand my obsession with this ride, and it seems like the more I like it, the more he fights it. He doesn't do that with any other ride, but it's like he has some personal grudge against Soarin'!

I tried to take some pictures while we were on there, but they didn't come out that good:

Still, they get the point across, and they make me wish I was in Disney right now. I'd give anything to be waiting in line for 60 minutes to go on Soarin' instead of being stuck here, in CT.

When we were finished, we went over to Sunshine Seasons to grab some breakfast. Usually I get the strawberry shortcake for breakfast whenever I go there, but for some reason, that morning I decided to get the breakfast panini, which is what Brandon got also.

It's really good, but it is SO filling, there's no way I can possibly eat the whole thing!

We still had a little time before we could use our Soarin' FP's, so we decided to go on Living with the Land!

I really love Living with the Land, but sometimes I forget how long it is! When you're ready to go on Soarin' again, sometimes this boat ride seems like it takes an hour!

That house! It's so cute!

I love the greenhouse section, with all of the plants, it's fascinating how they grow everything in there, and how they get things to be so big! :rotfl: I should really do the Behind the Seeds tour someday, but I feel like if I'm going to do a tour, I should start out big, like the Keys to the Kingdom tour or something, you know?

(Haha, this update is all over the place, I apologize!)

Finally, after our hour long boat ride through the Land, we got off and ran back to Soarin'. Well, I probably did, and then I'm sure I had to stop and wait for Brandon, since he just takes his time. :rotfl2:

With our FP's, we were on and off Soarin' in no time! I was hoping that wasn't the last time I would ride it on our trip, since I knew the next time we would be back at Epcot would be Friday night for magic hours...I'm sure I could find a way to squeeze in one more ride, right?

Well, I couldn't really dwell on that for long, because we had a few other things we wanted to do in Future World! Like go see Nemo and Friends!

I always try to get a good shot of the jellyfish, but this is the best I can do:

I keep saying someday I'll have a real camera so I can take nice pictures, but it just never happens! I would have no idea what to do with a real camera anyway, so I guess it's kind of pointless for me to buy one!

I love the Nemo ride, but that "Big Blue World" song is so depressing to me. I don't know why, but I just can't listen to it. I always skip it if I'm listening to "Four Parks, One World" it's just really sad to me. :confused3

(And now, because I just had to write about it, it's stuck in my head! :scared1:)

Anyway, we went to visit the manatees for a while, they are just so pretty and graceful!

And then we went to find the real Nemo, who was being really cute and hiding in some flowery thing in his tank:

It was adorable, it looked like he was almost laying on it, like a bed or something! I'm sure he was just hiding from all the people staring at him, though!

When I was finally able to drag Brandon away from the Seas (he loves this pavilion, not because of Nemo or Crush, but because he likes to see the actual animals, I'm sure he could spend hours there!) we decided to stop at Club Cool for a few minutes!

My favorite is that Fanta from Costa Rica, I drink cup after cup of that stuff when I'm in there. Sometimes I try the other kinds, but I usually just stick with the Fanta!

We finished drinking our soda, and crossed over to the other side of Future World.

I kept hoping for a Test Track preview that week, since it was supposed to be opening later that month, but no such luck!

We stopped in Mouse Gear for a few minutes, where I saw a shirt I considered buying:

but I didn't bother. I hope they still have it the next time I'm there, because it's so cute!

We looked around for a little while longer and I bought a few things. I didn't feel like carrying them, which is usually why I buy stuff on the way out of the park, but luckily Brandon had his backpack so I just stuffed everything in there! :thumbsup2

Finally, it was after 11 and we could go to the World Showcase! :dance3:

Up next...the World Showcase!

Yay for Epcot!!!!!!!!

Can you imagine what the park would be like if ToT and Soarin were in the same vicinity!!!!! You'd be running back and forth for sure!!!! :)

Big blue world doesn't seem depressing to me... maybe it does to you because it's signals the end of the ride?

That shirt looks so cute!!!! You should have bought it!! You better buy it next time!!!!

All this talk about disney world makes me miss it!!!
BUT I can't wait to go to Disneyland for the first time!!!!!!!!

OH beautiful Epcot.

Hahaha I don't think 'Big Blue World' was written with an intent to depress!

I'm fond of the Fanta too! I also love the Chinese one. YUM.

I think your Soarin pictures turned out ok. I considered doing that on our trip but was afraid I'd get busted. :rotfl:

And yes, you should do a big tour like KTTK! For how many times you've been you should try one of them!

Ahhh Epcot is awesome. I wish I were there right now.
We did the Behind the Seeds tour! We did the opposite -- we thought if we're going to try a tour, let's start small. :rotfl: We loved it though, it was really interesting.
I could spend forever in the Seas pavilion looking at all the sea critters too. It's just so relaxing in there!

I think Skip gets like Brandon. When he knows I love something he fights it, even if he likes it too.

Yay!

Haha I'd die if ToT and Soarin' were in the same park! I'd never leave! :rotfl2:

I know, it's not supposed to be depressing, but for some reason, it is to me! :confused3

I loved that shirt, I wish I bought it! I just hate buying Disney clothes that are gigantic! :rotfl:

I can't believe you're going to Disneyland! So jealous! You're going to have such a great time! :goodvibes

I know!! :lovestruc

I know it wasn't, leave it to me to find it depressing! I don't know what is wrong with me, that's the only Disney song I can't listen to. Oh, and now that song from the Land, can't listen to that ever again either!

I can't think of what the Chinese one tastes like, I just know I'm obsessed with the Fanta! I wish they sold it in bottles, because it's SO good! :cool1:

I think your Soarin pictures turned out ok. I considered doing that on our trip but was afraid I'd get busted. :rotfl:

I just held my camera in my lap and made sure the flash is off, I don't think they could get mad about that could they? I probably won't do it again though, I'm so afraid of dropping my camera! :rotfl2:

I would love to do KTTK! I really need to do some kind of tour, or the Wild Africa Trek or something! I always wanted to do the Epcot Segway tour, but that's over now, right? I need to think of something awesome and different for our anniversary trip in 2015! :cool1:

I know, me too! I won't be there for such a long time, I can't take it!

I would love to do that tour, there's no way I can do it in December, with all the other stuff I want to do, but maybe on our next trip, whenever that is! I'm thinking I'll save a big tour for our anniversary trip in 2 years! :thumbsup2

I love the Seas, but I can only spend so long looking at fish! :rotfl2: Brandon loves it, he could stay there all day and be happy!

Another great update...love the EPCOT pics :)

Thank you! :cool1:

I think Skip gets like Brandon. When he knows I love something he fights it, even if he likes it too.

Haha, what is with that? I know Brandon does like Soarin', he just thinks you only need to do it once a trip and that's it. I, on the other hand, need to do it as many times as possible! Same with ToT, but he gets that obsession! :rotfl2:

OMG... I haven't Dis ed so long... that you changed your Avatar...:confused3 (it's really cute)

I too like the picture of Brandon in Gaston's chair- He's very in character...;)

Your food at WPE looks really, really good...

I love TrenD--- I also love the Alex and Ani bracelets so that could be a problem... really cute... I think they have Minnie... and the Castle too?

The breakfast panini looks pretty tasty and I'm a big sucker for Soarin-I'm one of those goobers that claps for it...popcorn::

Ahhh... the Manatees... love them... would love to see them in the Everglades someday... if we ever make it out off the Disney bubble...:rolleyes1

Haha, sorry about that, I always wonder if I should tell people when I change my avatar, I do it every few months! :rotfl2:

Haha, thanks! Yeah I like that picture!

Aren't the Disney Alex and Ani bracelets cute? The only one I don't have is Minnie...I hope they come out with new designs soon, like the princesses or something!

Haha I clap for Soarin' too, and I always get made fun of by Brandon, but I don't care, it's amazing! When I first when on in 2008, everyone clapped and cheered and it was awesome riding with all of those people who were so amazed by it, and now it's like, people are used to it. So I like clapping at the end!

I'd love to see manatees in their natural habitat too, but who knows if I'll ever leave Disney either? Although IF we ever move down there, I guess I'll have more of a reason to venture away from the Orlando area! :cool1:

Hey, Where's Perry?

Hi everyone! Wow I can't believe I haven't updated here in such a long time! My life is crazy right now. Not so much crazy as in busy, just crazy in that I'm going through a lot of changes right now, and it's hard for me to be on here sometimes! Everything in my life feels very uncertain right now (and no, I'm NOT getting divorced if that's what you're wondering! :rotfl:) I learned in the past month or so that I am NOT good with change! People say change is a good thing, and I'm trying to embrace that, and in a way, I believe it because it's something I've wished for for so long, but now that I've gotten my wish, it's SCARY! :scared1: I'm sure some of you know from Twitter and FB what I'm talking about, if not, don't worry, the rest of you will know soon enough, I'm just not ready to talk about anything yet! :faint: This year has been really difficult for me, and I'm glad it's July in 2 days, because that means the first half is over and the 2nd half of the year is starting, and hopefully that means good things are coming! :thumbsup2

(I'm sorry I'm being so vague! Trust me, in a few weeks I'll be ready to tell everyone everything!)

(Oh, and before anyone asks, I'm not pregnant either! :rotfl2:)

If you guys take a look at my ticker today, you will see that it's exactly 5 months from my next Disney trip! Well, that's not exactly true, because I moved our trip up by a day, we're now leaving on Thanksgiving Day, instead of the day after. Prices for airfare dropped SOOO much that I had to add an extra day! Of course, all of the good ADR's are booked for that night, so I have us eating at Raglan Road...an Irish Restaurant for Thanksgiving! :rotfl2: Honestly though, I don't care, I just want to be in Disney. I'll eat at the Pop Food Court on Thanksgiving if I have to, as long as it means I'm in Disney World! I am REALLY hoping something at Jiko opens up, because although I'm not planning on doing any parks on Thanksgiving day, if we do, it will only be Animal Kingdom, so it would be nice to go straight to Jiko from there. And I'm dying for Brandon to try Jiko! So we'll see what happens with that!

Anyway, enough about my boring life, on to the update! When we left off, we were on our way to the World Showcase! We finally had a few hours where we had nothing to do but wander around in the World Showcase, no more Food and Wine festival or anything, so we were going to try something new for us...the Agent P missions!

That previous summer, we got hooked on Phineas and Ferb. And I fell in love with Perry the Platypus (I have a few stuffed Perry's, one that even makes his little platypus noise!) so we were excited to try the missions!

Since Norway was the first country where you could sign up, we stopped there and signed up for our mission, and figured since we were in Norway already, why not just stay there and do the mission there? (You can pick any country to do your mission in...I think they all have missions? I could be wrong though, I'm not sure about Japan or Italy!)

They gave us our F.O.N.E (that stands for something, but I don't remember what!) and we were off on our mission!

Basically, you just wander though the country and look for clues, and all these cool little things happen along the way!

It was fun, it took about 30 minutes, and we wanted to do another one, so we signed up to do the next one in Germany!

(These Christmas decorations are killing me, btw!)

Look how sad this poor Food and Wine booth is, now that the festival is over!

Just throw some moveable shrubbery around it, and it's like it never happened!

Look, the little town still has their Food and Wine Festival signs up though!

Anyway, we walked around Germany and did the mission, and it was really cool, I think I liked it a little better than the Norway one! When we were finished, we went in to the shops for a little while, Brandon always seems to buy a shirt in Germany, but I don't think he did this time! Maybe he did, it was so long ago I can't remember!

I thought these ornaments were really cute in the Christmas shop:

I didn't buy one though, because I knew I'd be going back to Downtown Disney sooner or later and buying tons or ornaments in the shop there, since that seems to be my weakness...buying Disney ornaments!

I went over to the water and took this picture, because one can never have too many pictures of Spaceship Earth across the lagoon

and then we realized we should probably head to Canada and check in for our Le Cellier ADR!

So we started the looong walk around the World Showcase, and finally made it to Canada! Doesn't that seem like the longest walk when you're tired and hungry? :rotfl:

Sooo pretty, had to Instagram this one!

We checked into Le Cellier and I don't think we waited long before we were seated, and we ordered immediately! There's really no reason for us to look at the menu since we're so obsessed with this place! :rotfl2: (Although I think, since the lunch menu is now the same as dinner, we probably will only go there once a trip, instead of 2 or 3 times! I can't believe my cream cheese mashed potatoes are gone!!! :scared1:)

I got my Red Maple, like I always do!

They brought us our bread and cheddar cheese soup (I have a picture of the soup alone, but it's really dark!)

We both got the mushroom filet, of course I subbed the risotto with the mashed potatoes, but Brandon didn't!

And for dessert, I got the chocolate mousse, but Brandon tried something new, he got the pecan pie, which comes in a cup!

He loves pecan pie, and he said this was really good, but way too filling, I'm not sure if he even ate it all!

When we were finished, we decided to go back to POR to rest for a little while. On the way over, we talked about what to do later that night. Originally we were supposed to go back to Epcot, but since we were going to Epcot on Friday night, and I was dying to see the Osborne Lights again, we decided to change our plans and go to Hollywood Studios! For some reason, I could not get enough of the Osborne Lights on this trip, and I knew this was my one last chance to see them!

We got back to POR in minutes (I LOVE how close it is to Epcot! Seriously, if I can't stay at my beloved Beach Club, where I can walk there, POR is the next best thing!) and we rested for a while so we would have some energy later that night for the Osborne Lights! :dance3:

Up next...DHS!

I'm glad you enjoyed the Agent P missions. If things haven't changed since it was Kim Possible, then there are only 7 out of the 11 countries that have missions. The 4 that do not are: Morocco, Canada, USA and Italy.

Glad you enjoyed the WS missions! We didn't do any of the Agent P ones in April but they can't be too different from the Kim Possible ones. Regardless, it would be fun to do the "new" ones too. And yes, like ronmel said only 7 of the countries have missions.

haha, Disney Christmas ornaments are awesome! Have you seen the new princess shoe ones (they're like this year's version of the ear hats they did last year). They are so adorable. If I go in August I will have to get one of them!

Hmmmmm - new job? (Since we ruled out divorce and pregnancy) :rotfl2:

Loved the update. I have an ADR at Le Cellier on the books for October. Funny how its so easy to get an ADR there nowadays. :rolleyes1 With TIW it really doesn't matter and I've had a hankering for that filet.

Love you comment about the abandoned F&W kiosk. :rotfl: Yup, never existed. Fortunately the Christmas decorations more than make up for it. :thumbsup2

Yeah for adding an extra day and Raglan Rd is totally NOT a bad place to be for Thanksgiving. Heck - I'd eat in the food court at the airport if it meant an extra day in Disney!

I'm sorry 2013 hasn't treated you well so far.:( Hopefully these next 6 months will bring you better days.

I've been so out of the loop lately (blaming it on the baby:rotfl:) but I had no idea you were going to WDW around Thanksgiving-time. What are your dates? Obviously, Thanksgiving...Apparently, we like to travel around the same time, because I'll be there the 1st through the 8th. The holidays are just too amazing to miss. ::yes::

I don't know why, but I didn't realize POR was that close to Epcot. I bet that was especially nice for you, since you love Epcot.

Had to laugh at that lone F&W booth still peeking over the bushes.

I can't wait to go back to wdw to try the new mission!!!! Sounds fun!!!

I miss Le Cellier!!!!!
Last time we are there, I had the pecan pie and it was very yummy, but terribly filing!!!! I couldn't finish it!!!!
Your chocolate dessert looks amazing!!!!!

And yay to getting Brandon to agree to leaving on thanksgiving!!!!!! :)
