OK, I'm not new here, and have been to WDW enough times to know that ADR's are hard to get for FD times. But we were all set to book POLY for 10 days (ANY 10 days), during FD in Sept. I just checked, and there aren't ANY Ohana ADR's for dinner, ANY evenings, the ENTIRE month. To make things worse, even the LAST week of October, when there is NO FD, which is JUST this week 180 days, has NOTHING!!!!! So now thinking, have to wait till November so I can get on right at 180 days. Thinking people are finding ways to make ADR's with multiple credit cards/ emails.

Or they are like you and want O'hana so it book sup super fast. :) I have never eated there so I dont know what the fuss is yet. Hoping to get it this time

I just booked an ADR for 10/2 at 6:40pm. I was trying for September 29, but was having no luck.
I kept checking 3-4 times a day until I got what I wanted.
Good luck~

we have 5 people which is I think harder to get anyways. We love that place so much, we are actually planning our trip around when we can get an ADR.

I booked it for October 23rd at 5:20 yesterday. I ended up calling because online wouldn't recognize me - maybe if you talk to a person they can find something?

ADRs for September have been available for more than a month now, so it's not all that surprising that there aren't any 'Ohana ADRs. Even without FD, 'Ohana ADRs typically sell out early in the 180-day cycle. Continue to look for one and jump on the cancelation thread once the September appears. Good luck!

OMG. Is it possible that people book dates earlier just so they can do the 180 day reservations, then CHANGE the hotel dates??? This only occurred to me when I read your post.

I am all set to book next week but now I am worried that I will not get what I want because someone might have figured out how to scam the system this way.

Is this even possible to do?

I was able to book 'Ohana for October 21 at 5:05 pm for 6 people this morning.

I just checked the system and you could get a spot on Saturday (Oct 22) for around 5:15 pm (5 people) so there still seems to be availability depending on what time you want to eat.

It would be some trouble and would of course tie up a one night deposit, but sure people could do it. Once ADRs are made, Disney couldn't care less if you cancel a resort reservation. Maybe people decided to switch resorts or even stay offsite. Their ADRs would not be canceled. Seems like alot trouble just to get ADRs earlier though.:rotfl:

I couldn't even get an ADR at Ohana at 180 + 10 for day 6 of my trip the last week in September.

We are going October 20th - 25th...and I made Ohana dinner reservations yesterday for the 20th. This was for a family of 5. However, i did look at availability for that Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and there was quite a bit....we were looking for a 6pm reservation and got it no problem.

I don't know what availability looks like today since the system is down

I would just keep stalking the site.

I just made a ressie at 'Ohana for 6 people on October 27th at 7:10, so it is possible. Good luck!

I think it really depends on the size of your party.

I could not make a ressie for one so I made one for two Sept 29 @ 5:05 which just popped up while I was talking to a CM.

I have been looking the week I am going Sept 24-29 and there are only 9:30 and later for two on some nights and nothing on others.

Yes, it is, and yes, when I realized that there are 0 tea reservations more than 180 days out I seriously contemplated booking a dummy date earlier than our real one to do exactly this. Then I didn't, and will likely not be able to book tea... breaks my heart. :badpc: I don't think there are that many people who do this, but there are 0 consequences to so I bet a few do. Its likely just THAT popular. This morning when I got up I checked all the other reservations we wanted at the 180 day mark as I have been the last week and there has been SOME availability for all of them so I'm not too worried (I get to work at 8am PST and the lines have been open for 5 hours at that point). I'll wake up at 3am on our booking day, do them, then go back to SLEEP! We are at a serious disadvantage due to the time difference, but probably NOTHING compared to international visitors.

I'm new to all this so maybe it was beginners luck, but I booked Ohana, not once BUT twice for the 1st week of September.

I was looking for 10/2...only thing I get is 9:35...I see that going well with a five year old..hahaa.

As others have suggested, you really do need to check online every day. It took me 2 months to get an 'Ohana ADR for dinner in August at a decent time. It finally happened today. So don't give up.:)

Last year we booked a September trip in July. I was able to score an Ohana res 2 weeks before our trip. keep trying. :)
