No offence to anyone who has done this themselves, but...

OK, isn't it very annoying when you go into a trade room and someone says that they want something that you aren't willing to trade, for example I specifically wrote on my signiture that my inferno is never going to be traded.

Then again, I kinda do it to, but I always ask if they want to trade, but other people always ask in the trade window which is stupid!

It is easier to talk in the trade window than in an open room and also more private. I totally understand why they do that.

What I meant is about me being annoyed about asking in the trade window is that people start begging you in the trade window for things you aren't offering at all, even if you say you are not offering the item in your signiture.

I can understand polite requests for an item in the room, so I can politely reply with a no/for a very good offer, but if a person constantly begs in the trade window/room for an item that you aren't willing to trade it is kinda mean, and is wasting the player's time (plus I think they mentioned it on the homepage a couple of times too..)

(I didn't mean to start arguing btw.. I am just having a bad day. :) )

The only way I have found to avoid people asking for things I am not trading is to take those things off before going into a trade room. I think most are not even reading your signature, they just see your pin. Your other option would be to just cancel the trade box when it pops up and ask who is trying to trade with you and for what.

Some items are just so highly sought after, that no matter what you do, people will still try to talk you into a trade.

I agree 100%. I requested (on my signsture) that people ask me before trading or asking to be a friend. But yet, I still get random peole trying to trade or putting in a friend request. Most of the time I cancel but if they are really aggrevating that I ignore.

My mule's signature says "not trading today" but I get trade requests while just walking through the Kingdom (she wears a yellow dress and gold ears, I wear the cheap Mickey outfit with black ears). I don't mind the folks who ask where to get stuff (dresses, crowns, ears) and I'm happy to help, it's the constant trade requests.

If I had to take off my pins or costumes in order to walk around, what would be the point of having them? For that matter, what would be the point of VMK?

I'd really like to have a checkbox (like the Furnishing Mode checkbox) where I could ignore all trade requests, maybe another for friend requests, but I can more easily delete those later.
