This will be first trip with a car and i think I read that DVC members no longer get valet parking at the other DVC resorts. Is this right? Sorry if old topic that I should know this. How do u get around to eat at other dvc resorts. Do we still get free parking at parks. We're staying at SSR.TIA.

Yes, you get free parking at resorts and at Parks as a resort guest. There is a fee for Valet parking. This change happened a year or so ago.

Free valet parking for members at DVC resorts ended over a year ago, I think fall of 2009. No advance notice, some people parked their car when it was free only to be told in the morning they had to pay.

But you can still get free valet parking with TIW cards when dining at other resorts.

When you drop off your car, they need to see the TIW card. When you pick up your car, they again ask to see the card and the receipt for the dining you just completed. Otherwise, you get charged for valet. We just did this at the GF one morning about two weeks ago.

OK I will ask whats a TIM card

A tim card is for Tim Horton's:lmao::lmao:

I think your wanting to know what a TIW card is and it is a discount on food but I think it is only available if you are an Annual pass holder.

I don't have on but Im sure more experienced Dis'er will chime in. I just couldn't resist as Tim cards are very Canadian. There is one in each car and each wallet in our house;)

Annual Passholder or Florida Resident

A TIW card is Tables in Wonderland. It gets you 20% off of most sit down and some counter service restaurants. It does cost $75 and you have to be an annual pass holder to get one. They can be purchased at Guest Relations.

I didn't know this and paid for valet parking when dining at Cape
may one night. Would have been nice to save that $12. Thank you for sharing this.
