No More Parents' Dirty Looks! School's Out May 2009 Pre-Trip Report
My DH and I are celebrating the end of another school year and our first stay as DVC members!

Back in February, Marc and I decided to bite the bullet and buy into DVC. Marcs first trip to Disney was in September 2008, and he immediately became addicted! So, to end what has been a crazy school year, were going to Disney!!!!
Were using our Developer Points to stay at SSR for a week, five nights in a studio and two nights in a 1-bedroom. Then on May 31, were moving over to AKV Kidani, which is our home resort. To recuperate after our trip, were going to Disneys Vero Beach for two nights.
Marc and I both work for our local school system, and the school year ends on May 27th. When we scheduled the trip, the last day of school was May 22nd, but then we got hit with the piggy flu hysteria and were out for two days. After worrying and obsessing for a week about whether or not we would have make-up days at school, our wonderful bosses told us we could go ahead and take the leave, so we wouldnt miss out on our trip!
We're only doing the DDP the last three days of our WDW trip, so we can check out some off-site restaurants. We have ADRs at the following restaurants:
Crystal Palace
Cape May
Raglan Road
Kona
So, now were less than a week away from leaving, and there is so much to do! I still have to get my classroom packed away for the summer, along with all the end of the year programs and parties. Marc just has to clean his office and lock his filing cabinets. (Lucky guy!!!) We both have to pack and get the house ready for our dog sitter. Its going to be a crazy week, and I cant wait for it to be over!
