I got a letter today saying that with the last repayment my student loans had been paid in full. I've not noticed the money going out but at the time that money was a godsend.

No more student loans AND Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - wahooo!

I think I started paying it off in Feb/March 2001, so 6 years and a few months - not bad considering how awesome it was to have that money as a cash stricken student.
