Eurostar has confirmed today that Disneyland Paris has ceased the supply of children's activity packs on the Direct Eurostar trains from London to Marne La Vallee.

Many kids, big and small used to enjoy these packs as it kept them occupied during the journey. I know my DW will be very disappointed.

Oh no! That's a real shame :sad2: DD really loved getting her pack and still uses the bag now!

Guess that means a trip to Poundland before we go to make one of our own!

Yet more cutbacks by DLP.... :confused3

that a shame:sad2: was looking forward to getting our first one when we go in tow weeks time...

Personally I'd rather they cut back on something like this and invest in the parks. It will take a while for WDW company to make an impact

I just hope there are eventually improvements made to the parks... All it seems at the moment is that cutbacks are being made in lots of areas (with shows being the main one) with dreams being cited as the reason.

I'm sure there's more to it than that but it just seems that way :)

They are concentrating on the Studios until 2018 I think, so any new rides will be there starting with the Ratatouille ride next year. I think they will bring back shows. Licensing shouldn't be too hard now WDW company are more involved

I am so glad that WDS is getting the attention it so desperately needs! X

There hadn't been any for a while now and they didn't even bother to change them to 20th anniversary versions as people reported still getting the Magical Moments version last year.

Wonder if thet fact that people would take piles and then sell them on ebay had anything to do with it. :sad2:

Hadn't thought of that :( you might be onto something there!

In the grand scheme of things it isn't a massive loss, but was a nice little touch that will be missed!

You never know, it's like the cheese at breakfast. They stopped doing it in slices except at the DLH as cubes are harder to make sandwiches with

I can see them doing away with free breakfasts too in time as people take more and more the p with them

you often see them on ebay ,i was thrilled when the lady on the eurostar desk looked at me when i got them for the girls and said would i like one i must of looked like the total disney addict that i am (1m 49 but 10 at heart ) i keep all my disney pins and pens and keepsake tickets in it :rotfl2::rotfl2::thumbsup2

It's the usual way isn't it, the minority spoil it for the majority.

When we were last there we saw one family filling up a PICNIC BASKET with breakfast foods... I can understand taking the odd bread roll but using the 'free' breakfasts to fill you up until dinner isn't right at all.

Didn't know about the reason behind the cubed cheese, that makes sense!

The easy way would be to enforce the rules and be stringent. I know far too many people who do the breakfast for lunch people, but never see anyone telling them off. And as for the Express packs, the staff at Ashford just give them out to anyone and everyone, regardless of if they booked the package. Seems lately they decided anyone could have them. If no one is there to point out the rules, then of course they will take be taken advantage of and the decent people have to suffer.

My DD was very disappointed last Sunday over this she skipped over to the counter very excitedly and asked for herself which is brave of her as shes very shy. They stopped handing them out the week before apparently.

Yet another cut back by Disney.

If only they were investing it in the park. They have cut back on so much of the magic since my first visit.

Weren't they meant to be building the Mos Eisley Cantina from Star Wars along with a new Star Tours Ride where Planet Pizza is by 2015 or in 2015..?

That's been confirmed by Alain over at Disney and More and he's as much in the know as someone can be without actually working for WDI!

Well they have been doing a lot of work on Main Street USA over the last few days. All the shields on the lamp posts have come down, together with the 20th Anniversary decorations and trees have been planted along the street.
