No MCO to Port Canaveral Xmas Rental Cars?

I have been trying to get quotes for renting a van from Oralndo Airport, staying at WDW for a couple days, and then dropping it off at Port Canaveral.

Most of the car rental companies are telling me that I must return the car to MCO. That is my only option. Is this because it's Christmas week? Is this normal?

It gets tougher around those days. I have a feeling it is the codes. try doing a rental with no codes and see if it lets you.. (you may not like the price)
You might also call the agency and see what they can do.

You are trying to rent what amounts to a one way car rental out of Orlando during the BUSIEST two week of the year; meaning that car is not going to be able to be rented by another customer after your rental.

I used a rental code for Budget that I found here on the Disboards to secure my reservation at a reasonable price.

My dates are 12/26-29 and 1/3.
