No luggage tags with magicbands

We received our magicbands today but the color-coded luggage tags were not in the box. I thought they come automatically. We took the box apart, they are not in it. Anyone know how I can get them to send them to me? Thanks for any help

Do you have a room-only reservation? Luggage tags are only sent to guests who booked a package.

If you booked a travel agent-only offer, it's not considered a true package, so no luggage tags. That was my issue in April and again in August.

What is a travel agent-only offer and what is a magical vacation?

I do know that you only get luggage tags if you book a package- room-tickets-food. We usually do room only. The one year we got a package that included luggage tags, the plastic tags cracked after two plane flights

You got the yellow sticky Magical Express luggage tags, or the matched-color-to-the-MB souvenir luggage tags?

A lot of people don't know about the matching luggage tags because they don't book packages, so they think they got the tags in question because they got their ME tags.

only time i've ever heard of not getting them is if you booked room only as you must book a package.

i've booked through 3rd party travel agents and i've still received them.

it may be worth at least asking your TA if you were supposed to receive them.

These are sent by Disney with your MagicBands, the travel agent has nothing to do with this.

we did too. before I booked I had a call with the TA and she mentioned that we would get luggage tags but not the new type that have been issued the last few years. I haven't sent her our flights to set up DME yet. I wonder if I would be better off setting up DME myself.

My mistake. I misread the original post. I thought you just meant Magical Express tags. We did not get color matched ones

i believe OP did state that they took apart the box.
