We just received a travel update from DonaldDoleWhip.
He said, "I'm back in NY, and (of course) I had to grab a bite after my bus arrived in NYC."
"I chose a spicy tuna roll and a rose-lychee macaron. The sushi was very fresh, and the macaron was fantastic - it had a perfect texture and delightfully floral flavor."
"Some more pics from tonight - it might sound generic, but I love New York!"
"Our flight tomorrow is at 6:30 in the morning, so this was basically my 'last meal' before we're in Disney. I can't wait to start sending in F & W updates!"

She said, "This was our first time having dinner there, usually we go only for breakfast."
"I started with the potstickers...

"Then we shared the volcano roll...
...and the caterpillar roll."
"We also shared the creme brulee for dessert."
And one of them must be celebrating a birthday, because they received this...

Yay!! Thanks Barb, Cannot wait to get to WDW! That should be obvious from the fact that I am on the boards right now instead of doing my work!
Since we tend to be more go with the flow people, I don't really have any huge plans to share, except that copious amounts of food will be eaten! It will be our first F&W so we are definitely excited. It is also our first time going during a crowded, holiday weekend, so we might be in for a shock. Can't wait to stalk, er I mean, accidentally run into some fellow DIS'ers!

"Yesterday we ate at Boma for breakfast but didn't take any pics because we were running late after switching rooms again at Saratoga Springs, we're hoping that this time will be 3rd time lucky! Dinner was at Kouzzina and it was lovely."
"We started with a Superfruit Sangria and a Heineken."
"Tom had the Saganaki that he has been dreaming about since we were last here, it seemed to be missing a lot of capers this time though."
Saganaki - flamed Greek cheese with lemon and oregano
"I chose the special Chef's menu (pic of menu below)."

"Sorry, I started eating before I remembered about the pic! All elements of this dish were lovely, the meatball had a real taste of cumin, the prawns were garlick-y and the goat's cheese was like a spread with artichokes at the bottom."
"The second course was a Greek salad, stuffed vine leaf and soup...
"The soup really wasn't for me, it was a warm soup with the taste of creamy chicken and strong lemon, everything else was delicious."
"The palate refresher was a raspberry sorbet with soda water and Chambord liqueur, we thought we could taste a hint of coconut too, this was so refreshing and I could have eaten a larger portion as a dessert!"
"Tom had the lamb shank on a bed of beans gigantes, he said this was delicious and the meat just fell off the bone.
