no link to customize magic bands showing up

I am just curious if anyone else is having an issue like this. I had reserved the Dolphin for March but then decided to change to going in May and reserved at Boardwalk instead. I cancelled the Dolphin (with Marriott) back in January and it shows as cancelled with them but I noticed it still showed in MDE. So I called Disney and the person i spoke with said that they could not take it out of their system but as long as it was cancelled with the Dolphin (Marriott) that it was indeed cancelled. Well needless to say it is still showing up in MDE and i am curious if that is why i do not have a link to order new magic bands. Even though i should have them able to be ordered for the new reservation at Boardwalk could the old one where they are not provided be stopping their system from generating a new order until that reservation passes by? Or is it just a case of the Disney system being messed up in general?

MDE is so messed up right now. I modified a reservation days ago and it still isn’t showing the modification on MDE. I booked a trip for August 2019 back in October 2018 and, though I can customize MBs for trips I booked this year, I can’t for that one. I would call Disney IT to see if they can help you out. The Dolphin reservation shouldn’t be interfering with the Boardwalk one.

Try viewing your MDE plans in another browser window. Sometimes I'll have funky things pop up on Chrome and then I just go to incognito or Safari and I'll see my plans as they should be. Check to see if your magic band link is available in a different browser.
 

This is a know issue. You should be able to order magic bands with your Boardwalk reservation. You can read about the problem and fix on this thread.

I was able to get my MDE fixed and magic bands ready to customize by logging into the Disney website and going to chat. The CM was able to fix the problem in about 5 minutes that way.
Same here! I was able to chat with a CM and the problem was fixed. Received our MBs today!
 
I Just wanted to thank all those who posted here with such good advice. I went on the chat and the person fixed the issue in like 1 minute.
