So you cannot take a picture, have you tried removing the lens and reattaching? Have you tried turning the camera off and on?

Of course ive taken the lens off and reattached it. Ive also tried turning it on and off, tried checking the shutter and menu (to see if there was anything that would work).

It is probably a bad connection between the lens and the camera body. Does it happen with only one lens or multiple lenses?

Take the lens off. Rub the contacts on the lens with a pencil eraser. Rub the contacts on the camera with the eraser. Be very careful not to let eraser junk fall into the lens or camera.

I will have to try that! I was wondering if mabey somthing was loose between the lens and camera because all my photos are comming out dark (last time I got it to work that is!). I have the same problem with both my lenses.

If the problem is with both lenses, it is most likely a problem with the contacts on the camera body side. Make sure that they are clean.

So I tried cleaning the contacts and the lens is clicking on right but its still telling me lens not attached, shutter locked. When I flip it to manual and shoot without a lens (didnt even know that was possible!) it says camera error sometimes, and other times it works. Im really frustrated with this problem, its been so nice out and I havent been able to take photos!
