Recap: DH(45) and myself(31) on our anniversary trip.

7:30 and we're on the bus for extra magic hour at AK. We head straight to Kilimanjaro Safaris and are wonderfully surprised at how active the animals were! It was so cool to see the lion roaring. There were no crowds at all that day. By 10 AM we had experienced Kilimanjaro Safaris, a very leisurely stroll through Panganini(sp), Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl, and It's Tough to be a Bug. We got a pretzel and drink and waited for Flights of Wonder. We'd never seen that show and it is GREAT! After Flights, we caught the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch and looked around there. We then headed over to RFC for a delicious lunch. After lunch we saw Festival of the Lion King and then examined all of the character trees around Camp Minnie Mickey. By three, we needed to leave to grab a jacket backet at our room.

At four, we were walking in MK for MVMCP. We were able to get in with only our MVMCP passes. We headed over to Big Thunder Mtn. RR and had about a twenty minute wait. After that, we walked on Pirates and Haunted Mansion. It was then getting close to six, so we headed to Tomorrowland. We walked on Space Mtn. twice, then stopped for a pretzel and drink. We walked around a bit, then headed over to Hall of Presidents and joined the line to have our picture made. We waited maybe ten minutes. After our pic, we grabbed our cocoa and cookies and stood in line for Goofy's Christmas show. I was so disappointed in that. However, when the show was over, we plopped down right out front and had a great seat for the parade. The parade was so wonderful. I hated that my kids didn't get to see it. After the parade, we headed toward Main Street and watched some of the fireworks. We were both exhausted, so we left before they were over.

It was a great day!
