My party was my 10 year old son, my 16 year old son and myself. We went first week of October. We took a flight to Miami and then drove to Orlando, staying off property at Rosen Inn Buena Vista. We did not keep the car. We used Lyft and Disney transportation. If you are in a budget, it is a good way of saving. I got all the ADRs that I wanted setting *********** alarms: TRex - Flying Fish - Oga's - Skipeers Canteen - Ohana's Breakfast and Story Book Dining. I even got Cape Mae Character breakfast but finally cancelled it as there were too many ADRs making our trip less flexible. Thought text alarms are better, I'm not from USA so I set my e.mail option and it worked just fine.
The car rental was
Avis so we had to leave it at Caban Bay. We stopped at a Dollar Tree and another Disney souvenirs' shop so the kids could buy toys and Disney stuff that it is way cheaper than WDW. We also went to Florida Mall for Anime and Funko Pops. After returning the car we went to Target to buy some groceries for our breakfast and snacks and water to take to the parks.
After resting a bit at the hotel we left to Disney Springs to buy a new Magic Band + at Pin Traders. We have the ones from 2018 but as I purchased Memory Maker, wanted to be sure that we get the photos from the rides. MB+ was added to our group in
MDE by a Cast Member at Customer Care Center. We also got the plastic cards for getting into the park and Celebration pins, there were nice souvenirs for the kids. They were not handing out the 50th Anniversay Pin. Apparently you have to buy it now.
We have dinner at T-Rex that is one of my kid's favorites. Our reservation was for 10 pm as I do not book earlier for our arrival day just in case we got a late arrival or if we need to have a rest before leaving the hotel. Luckily we were seated inside the cave where IMO you get a better inmersive experience of the Dinosaur World.
