I've been pricing up flights and forgot to change the date, so happened upon this accidentally:

02-Jun-2010 02-Jun-2010 Birmingham - Orlando Sanford
09:15 / 13:45 (9 hours 30 minutes) (TOM258)
16-Jun-2010 17-Jun-2010 Orlando Sanford - Birmingham
15:45 / 04:55 (8 hours 10 minutes) (next day) (TOM259)

The price per adult? £215!!!
(You have to add luggage at £30 per person.)

Obviously, this is flying out on 2nd June but what a cheap price! The carrier is listed as 'No Frills'. I know what this implies but what does it really mean?

BTW, if this is any use to anyone, it can be found on TravelRepublic.:)

Omg that is amazing - just to torture myself I had to go tot trravel republic and check how much for all 6 of us and was amazed to find its a bargain £1300 now if only we could jump on a plane with no worries !! :-) Hope someone else gets a quick break at this price x

I know - it's so tempting! For 5 of us it was £1044! I've checked it out and it's with Thomsonfly - this looks OK to me! Especially as it includes part of half-term. I wonder when this price became available.

I thought it may be a thomson or first choice flight but to be honest I think its a fab price and as a means of just getting there Id be willing to take the no frills option just to have a bargain quick break !!!
Fantastic now i gotta resist the urge to look for a villa on the dibb !! :-)

What does 'No Frills' mean exactly? How basic are these flights?

No frills means you pay for the drinks onboard and luggage at £30/case, some no frills airlines also charge for meals. As for the planes themselves I have never been on one but others seem to be happy with them.

The First Choice planes are much nicer than Virgin economy or premium economy, I would much rather fly with them than Virgin if they didnt just do 7 and 14 nights :)

We've flown "No-Frills" to Spain and the Canaries :)

Not sure I'd like to do it long haul with kids but would give it a go if I could pack a sandwich, a drink and my book;)

The flights we were on were a bit of a "free for all" seat wise - you could pay to be one of the first onboard but don't think you could reserve your seats. Not sure whether this would be any different long haul :confused3:confused3

Our flights were with Ryanair and EasyJet - think Jet2 and Monarch are others. You pay for the luggage, food and drink and the seats tend to be rather cramped but what the heck, you'd be going to WDW :woohoo:

For £1044 for 5 of us, I think I'd muck in and serve drinks/food etc:rotfl:

Me 2 !! If only it wasnt so hard to just throw caution to the wind and press that button !!:lmao:

If I wasn't a teacher, I would book at this price! There is always something standing in the way of a good bargain!

The trouble is, not many people are in a position to book such an expensive holiday last minute. I wouldn't have the nerve to wait until 1 week before I went!:scared1:

Me too. It goes to show that there are bargains out there.

Wow! These prices are amazing!!
Do you think they're that cheap because they're a "last minute" thing?

It will be all sorts of factors, kids are in school, exam time, weather warming up here, recession and like you say last minute, they would rather get £150 than nothing.
