On the disneyland website every weekend in November shows fireworks except for the 5-6???

Any guess why?

I'm guessing it's the off-week between the Halloween holiday time and the beginning of the Christmas fireworks show. I seem to remember fireworks being absent from the schedule the first weekend of November in past years as well. Do the Christmas fireworks start the weekend after the weekend with no fireworks?

I noticed this too and wondered if you smart cookies could tell me if there would be fireworks on Sunday nights in February? I know it's typically "weekends" but does that include Sunday? I am specifically thinking of Feb 26 (so Sunday following President's Day). I would hate to miss them but we may only be around for Sunday and Monday! Thanks for your help in advance!!

Even during the slow season at DL, the fireworks do run on Sundays. Mostly all the time DL does run the fireworks on those nights even during February. During Feburary DL will will be showing RDCT.

Thank you so much! That is exactly what I NEEDED and WANTED to know ;)
I really appreciate your help!

Fireworks and Fantasmic are usual on weekends, even in Ferbruary. A weekend to DL means Fri-Sun. This weekend in November is a rare exception.

Oh good! I'm glad to hear about Fantasmic too! And will have to hit World of Color but I'm hoping it will still be nightly then. This really helps as I'm thinking I will be booking flights asap. My nerves are getting to me...can't wait any longer!! Thanks to all!

I went during this weekend in 2009 (November 5th-9th) and when they originally put up the schedule it looked like they wouldn't have fireworks and people on this board told me it was because they were switching between the Halloween fireworks and the Christmas fireworks.

However, about a week before we left they changed the schedule and added the regular fireworks. I don't know why they did it but I have my fingers crossed that they will do it again.

If not, then I will just think of it as one less thing I have to worry about showing up 2 hours before hand to get a good spot ;)

How were the crowds when you went? We are going the 5th-10th this year :)

Also hoping they put the fireworks back on the schedule!!!

It was really nice until the 8th and 9th when they started the main taping for the Christmas parade and even then most of the crowds stayed on Main Street.

We will be there the 3rd-8th this time so I'm hoping the same thing happens.

That's what I'm hoping for too! We specifically make sure part of our trip falls over the weekend for trips in the off season so we can see the fireworks and Fantasmic so I'd be bummed if there were no fireworks.

They had fireworks that weekend last year too. I don't remember when they were added to the calendar, but if I remember right it was a couple of weeks ahead of time.

that weekend 6-8th nov is when we are going as well, and we had hoped that they would add the fireworks at a later stage to the schedule -- fingers crossed for all of us going that weekend that we get some fireworks magic...

but if not, there is still world of colour & that magic that is disney to enjoy

We will also be there the 5th of November and even though I'm not a huge fan of fireworks, I'm hoping they decide to do them at the last minute, anyway.

You must really like fireworks!

I have seen people wait that long for the fireworks. I am also one of those people that would wait that long for the fireworks. But I like watching the fireworks in front of SB castle and videotape them. Some people would waited as long as 7+ hours for the fireworks (like the 4th of July and New Years Eve). I have waited 2+ hours for the best spot to see the fireworks in front of the castle. Some people say it isn't worth it to wait that long for the fireworks and I do agree with that, but I like to get there early so I can get a good view to videotape the fireworks. People have their own preferences of waiting that long for the fireworks and don't want to wait that long just for a spot for the fireworks.
