So, ever since 180 days out, I haven't been able to get super great ressies anywhere from Nov. 14-18. But, I did a test and tried to reserve stuff for this Friday and next, a very busy time, and almost EVERY popular restaurant was available! I think something is holding back reservations, so keep your hope up!

And, I just figured out, after 11/7, Hollywood and Vine no longer has dinner as an option......so not sure what's going on with that....

Someone posted on another board that while waiting for their table at H&V during Star Wars weekends that a CM hinted at more Star Wars themed attractions/meals coming to HS so maybe it is something to that effect.

Wonder if it has to do with the release of the new Star Wars movie next december...

That would be awesome - fingers crossed for our November trip!

I don't want to speculate or spread rumors but I would hope they aren't going to take away a character meal right before FD starts for November and not replace it with another character meal. As someone who just watched all 6 Star Wars for the first time the past few weeks I would be excited for a Star Wars character meal as well!

Well, you can tell I had no interest in H&V until now because I didn't realize dinner was the only non-character meal there.

A Star Wars character meal would be great! But I was after a Disney Jr character meal for my 4 year old son and was disappointed when our TA found out they weren't taking breakfast reservations the week we're there. He would have been over the moon for that one. Saves us money at least ;)

So your TA was told that they weren't taking breakfast reservations the week you are there? Interesting, did they give her/him a reason? Weird that they would remove the dinner schedule but leave the breakfast schedule if they weren't taking reservations. Really leads me to believe they are doing something different with the characters. That is the only explanation I can come up with. If they are still showing breakfast but not allowing you to book it I would think it is because they don't want to have a bunch of people book an ADR with the belief that certain characters will be there.

Hmmm. I may do a chat with Disney. Seems unfair to pay for the park hopper then be severely limited in dining options at different parks.

I don't know if my TA (or her bosses actually) were told the correct information by the person/persons at Disney they spoke with. I've read a few people HAVE actually gotten reservations the week we are there, but lots are still trying. It may be the all to familiar, you get different answers to the same question from different Disney personnel!!!

I check periodically because I can always book it myself if I stumble across one. No such luck yet, but I'm going to keep trying. I know FD is going on at least part of the time we're there, but still seems crazy for Hollywood & Vine.

I personally think they're holding back stuff until D23. There's so much going on at DHS and a lot of speculation about rebranding and other announcements being made there. It's just my guess, though - I have no credible information to go off of. But there's no way ADRs can be THAT difficult to get in that entire park that week. It's crazy.

We went Thanksgiving last year and had NO problems getting ADR's...Going the 10th thru 15th of November, and NOTHING!! Staying onsite, did 180++, still NOTHING. I think all of you are right though...it will open up!! Would love to see another Star Wars dining in H and V. We got to enjoy on our previous trip last month, so keeping fingers crossed!! Thanks for keeping us all positive!!

What is D23?

I was able to get a lunch reservation for H&V for 11/8 at my 180 day mark. I chatted with a cast member about the trouble we seem to be having for November, and she indicated that no reservations are held back to be released later. Not sure how accurate that information is though :)

I'm guessing some have hoarded reservations too. Lol. I'm betting once fast passes are set, stuff will open up. And again at the 45 day mark if people cancel trips. I just scored my Fantasmic package on 11/15 so I'm excited!

I'm not sure the CMs on the phone know. I think they do release more as it gets closer and they have a better idea on crowd size because they increase the staff.
