No Fantasmic?

Hi! This will be my first time going to Disneyland during the holiday season. Is it true that there is no Fantasmic shows during this time? Why is that? Oh no, I'll be going with some friends that haven't been there in about 13 years and I've been ranting and raving about the show!!! This is one of the best things offered at the park, why isin't it playing right now?

Is this a good time to go now? We'll be going during the weekend of November 16th. Are alot of things closed? Will we be dissapointed if we go at this time?

enter the dates you'll be there and it gives you the "live shows and parades" schedules for the dates you will be there. Unfortunately, it looks like the Fantasmic show will not be on. Since this is a disneyland.disney.go website you may be able to hunt around and look as to why it's not being shown, and if possible change your dates. You could also email disney and ask them. If you go closer to Thanksgiving you'll be able to see the Christmas Parade which has always been my favorite.

If it's been 13 yrs since your friends have been there (and why did it take so long????) they won't be disappointed unless there's a ride they wanted to go on and it's being "Refurbishment" = meaning under routine maintenance which this website gives you that info also.

Fantasmic is not running because they are trying to get people into DCA. DCA will have its own nighttime water show for the holiday (LuminAira). It sounds really cute. But it WON'T replace Fantasmic. The holidays are a GREAT TIME to go to Disneyland.

I'm in shock! Say it's not so. Disney closed down Fantasmic in order to send more people over to DCA. Why does a new park have to pull down (take away) from Disneyland? Gee, regular Disneyland goers were better off not having DCA next door. So, because we now have a DCA, that means Disneyland will suffer (offer less)? It's insane. This strategy may backfire. Come on Disney....bring back Fantasmic!! It's the heart and soul of Disneyland. By taking that away, you may be preventing more people from returning back to either park. Both parks LOSE!! I think now I'll go to WDW instead of Disneyland this Christmas (any more cut backs, I just may stay home). Fantasmic is the best show ever! It has always been the highlight of our trip.

It's time for us Disney fans to call and write letters to Disney about this. Let Disney hear from you. If Walt were alive today, he would say, "Keep Fantasmic!"

Now that's exactly how I feel King Triton! It dosen't make sense to me! I mean I understand cut-backs, but don't cut back one of the major attractions to the park!! Fantasmic is something that I totally look forward to everytime I go. This time I'm going to Disneyland with some friends who haven't been there in soooo many years! Actually Fantasmic is one of the highlights that convinced them to joining us on the trip!
