The DL calendar is telling me there's no Fantasmic on Friday November 30. Is there any chance this might be wrong? Why would that be?

We arrive on Sun Nov 25 (in the afternoon after looooooooong flight from Australia) and the 30th is our last day in Anaheim. Well, we'll be there on the 1st but not doing DL to avoid the CP crowds. So if the calendar's correct, it's looking like our only chance to catch Fantasmic would be on the Sun night that we arrive. Bummer.

That seems weird to me. Keep checking that calendar. They don't always have all the information listed, they add things as it gets closer. If its not added by the time you leave and you really want to see F!, then I would just see if you have the energy. Maybe you'll get an adrenline surge after you arrive!

You might also call Disneyland directly (that number is listed somewhere on their website). They might be able to tell you more than their website calendar can.

Enjoy your trip!

One option (could be expensive though....) go with the Fantasmic dessert seating on Sunday night, so you can get in and see the show without a hassle even if you are exhausted. The advantage is this way you'll get to see both Fantasmic and then the fireworks on Friday night.

Thanks guys!

Yeah I was thinking about the Fantasmic seating actually, but not sure if it's an expensive punt since I'm travelling with four kids (9, 9, 8 , 7) and can't predict how they're gonna pull up after such a long flight. Of course, our body clocks will think it's lunch time the following day :) so they may be bouncing off the walls!

I really want the kids to see Fantasmic. I've seen it on 5 earlier trips (oh so much easier to do long-haul flights before you have kids ;) ) so I could go without but would be sad if they missed out. Who knows how long it'll be before we can get to go again ($13,000 for flights alone, holy moley I must be insane). Luckily the fireworks are every night at that time so I'm not as fussed with trying to fit those in.

Usually I'd adopt a wait-and-see attitude to whether or not we feel up to seeing it on the Sunday, but it makes the difference between buying a 5 or a 6 day park hopper. I'll need to buy the tickets before leaving home so need to make up my mind beforehand whether we're gonna try for the Sunday F! or not.

I have to tell you with six people, I would not chance doing the F! dessert reserved seating thing on your arrival day. A late plane, a tired group could all lead to you being out several hundred dollars. There are no refunds given for this one (unless DL cancels the show, then I think they do give you a refund). I am still really hoping it will run on the 30th for you!

Er, yeah. I think I'm with you on that one! I think what I might do is get 6-day hoppers and just see how we're doing when we roll into Anaheim on the Sunday night. If we feel up to it then we can just wander over and plonk ourselves down with a hot chocolate. If I'm gonna be awake and jet-lagged I might as well be doing it on the banks of the ROA than back at the hotel :thumbsup2 I'm still holding out hope for the 30th, it's my son's 10th birthday that day (which is the whole reason for our trip in the first place :) )

Thanks for your help :flower3:

OK, with that many people I would pass on the reserved seating too! I should've checked the schedule, I saw the parks closed at 8pm, so I figured the fireworks would be on weekends only. I'm glad you won't miss the fireworks, but Fantasmic is my favorite too. I really hope its showing on Friday for you!
