No Day But Today-A Third Installment of TigerCheer2009's Progress so Come On In!

Hi Jen
That stuffed french toast sounds absoultlty gorgeous, do they sell it anywhere in wdw? if they do it will definatly be on my to do list ;)

Love the cheer :)
Glad your feeling better :hug:
The laser tag sounded lots of fun, i remember doing it years ago, but it was very dark & they had a man dressed up as a wherewolf (sp??) (who we didnt know about:scared1: ) hiding & jumping out on us & chasing us!!! I was terrified & never went again!!!
I must try 'extreme laundry' :yay:
Have a great week

Hello all!!! Today was a busy day. We're getting so close to production time!!! It's getting down to the wire. I'm also planning a teacher's vacation (not to Disney, but to PA which I still love) as of this minute too!!

Story time: I was out in the hall waiting for practice to begin, talking with a couple of friends and I hear "Jen! Jen! Come here QUICK!" from the elementary kids. **Note: I've worked with most of these kids at the library summer program or Bible School or tutoring.** I fear the worst-bloody nose, fight over a My Little Pony, throw up...compared to those, it's mild. Two girls came to get me because another little girl fell and twisted her ankle. So I told her to give the pain a color (purple being worst) and it was a purple. We took off her shoe and sock, and there's mild swelling (swelling is something I can't tell in thick socks, high top sneakers or generally at all). I told her that it was a bit swollen, so let's get it elevated and get some ice. By the end of practice, it was about a 4 on the pain scale (I think-that's a light green if we're talking colors). I was hero of the day in her eyes and it felt GOOD! I have now earned the nickname Miss Jen because I also let the kids in the practice room telling them to "sit down, stay relatively quiet, don't run around, and don't rip your faces off". Teacher-esque, but I like it! Hope little ankle swelling girl feels better (I tutored her when she was a little bitty kidlet!)

Cam!! :hug: :hug: Glad you're back!!! It was back to school today (and picture day to boot!) They always schedule picture day on the day after Pres. Day! I should know by now that it happens then but since I'm photo editor I had to be out of classes for 1/2 the day so I'll have double HW tomorrow, and I had to be the "meanie Jen" and tell people (for the thousand millionth time) "YES, it's picture day today, what's your name?, first AND last names please, around the seats please, not all the way back, through the third row, watch the wires, stand by those double doors, wait your turn, YES you have to have your picture taken, NO you can't wait for your friends, please get back to class, I know you don't want to go back to class, wait in line, NO everyone can't be last, YES I would like to get back to class and do something productive today, please behave!!" Is that what being a mom is like? If so I might reconsider having children. Picture day is most definitely belonging in the seventh circle of h-e-double hockey sticks. No, I didn't plan my breakfast or pack my lunch because I was secretly hoping for a 2 hour delay!! ;)

Tracey! I don't know if they sell it in the World, but I know they have it at many breakfast restaurants (Bob Evans is one). Laser tag is really fun, but a werewolf would make me pee myself because it's just dark enough that the walls look like ways to go and you can't tell wall from place to move and I ended up face to face with a wall more than once. That is just scary. :hug: X-treme Laundry is very fun!!!

Today was as crazy as a crazy party in a crazy house on a crazy trip! Our production requires quite a bit of dancing, cheer movements, talking-lots of exercise!! Yay exercise!!

My pants also fit better, but these are an old pair. I'll get on another more new pair tomorrow to see if they speak the truth!

Breakfast:
-3/4 cup honey nut cheerios
-Dannon Light n Fit Vanilla Yogurt

Lunch:
-3 Bosco Sticks (pepperoni filled breadsticks)

no snack; wasn't hungry

water during practice

I think I'm feeling up for a butt kicking--wait, I mean cardio--after dinner (what and whenever that might be).

Talk to you all soon!! :grouphug:

Woo! No cardio-I worked on gravity splits, the cheer, my splits, and a heel stretch. I do need some good leg exercises that I can do...I'll look for some tonight/tomorrow.

Breakfast I think will be...food of some sort. :rolleyes: I think I'll have a regular ham and cheese hot pocket, and maybe a clementine for breakfast.

You can't beat squats and lunges for leg exercises. I hate doing them, but they really work!

You are doing great, keep it up!

Hey, Jen! Glad you've had a good time since I've been gone. You're doing awesome on eating & working out.

Hope you had a good Wednesday & have a GREAT rest of the week!!

Quick update:
-TOM struck with a vengeance (sp?) last night after my 8.46 minute wog on the TM. :( I didn't eat much today at breakfast and lunch because of his effects, but I'm hungry now!

-30 Hour Famine starts tomorrow: breakfast will be normal, water/juice until 2 pm on Saturday.

-B: Dannon Light and Fit Lemon Chiffon Yogurt, 3/4 cup Honey Nut Cheerios
-L: 1/2 salisbury steak, roll, mashed potatoes (I was after the carbs!)
-Snack: 1 large slice sausage pizza
-Dinner: ??

I should get going: I'm making dinner (parents and brother are in Wauseon at a band practice for brother in Honors Band) and I still have homework to do!

Wait! Hi Julie!!! Glad you're back-I read the updates but haven't had time to post anything yet!!

I also thought I'd add: I think I'm losing um...how do I say this? top half mass. My upper underclothes don't fit as well as they did at the beginning of the school year...I don't know if that's good or bad but it sure is annoying.

Hey, girl! Losing top mass, hmmmmmmmmm...... I was always told you gain from the bottom up & lose from the top down. It's always been the case for me. Eventually I think the bottom catches up, & hopefully the middle, too!

Wanna come make dinner for me, too???

I'll make dinner for you sure thing-if you want what I made, that is. Since I only "spent" 750 all day today, I had a bunch to play with. I had my TOMsnack: tortilla chips (counted! 13 Tostitos Scoops) and salsa. I also had 2slices of leftover pizza-this pizza is the good stuff! I'm full as of now, but if I do get hungry, I see a yogurt in my future (and calories to spare!) In all seriousness though, I do make a delicious beef taco lasagna and a kick-butt cinnamon coffee cake.

Julie-I'd rather lose middle and bottom mass than top mass! Dang! That won't be good for the costume fitting but I suppose it's better than spilling out and poking eyes out. Hmm...this could be an incentive! I'm rather sensible and "cover-it-up" when it comes to the clothes department and when where it counts doesn't fit...:idea: Tell Bekah I said hi!

I'm feeling in a mood for the TM tonight...actually I'm just in a mood to listen to the current CD I have that I play when I want to TM it. It's gotta be after homework though...

Have you seen the baked tostitos scoops??? They are my weekly WI reward! But I eat them with peach mango salsa.

Bekah says Hi!

No I haven't seen the Baked Tostitos scoops, but now I want some!! Where do you find the peach mango salsa? That sounds wonderful-I had a strong craving for fresh fruit and there was none to be had in the house.

Baked Tostitos Scoops they first had here at Sam's Club, but then they disappeared. I have found them in Albertson's & Smiths (a Kroger store).

Peach Mango Salsa came from Costco or Sam's - refrigerated by the deli type meats in the open cases. Last time I was in WalMart they had their brand of a Peach something salsa in a jar that was good, too.

When I need my 'nacho fix' I also sometimes take the taco bell hard taco shells, break them in pieces, add a TINY smidge of ff refried beans, ff cheese & heat & dip in salsa. Very low point nachos.

OOhhh stop torturing me!!!!!
Why does American food always sound yummier then here????
Why cant we have a Taco Bell????
Peach mango salasa mmmm would never get that here :(

Hope the dinner went well Jen :)

Sorry about the top weight going off first! That happens to me too, and believe me, I don't have any to spare! :lmao: At least you are losing something, right? The rest of your body will catch up, don't worry!

Search online for fruit salsa recipes, I love making my own.

Did you get your TM workout in?

Hey, Jen! Sorry you are fasting but I hope it is going okay for you. I am another baked scoops and peach mango salsa fan. I hope you can find some where you are!
Have a great weekend, sweetie!

and all is going well. Dinner smells good and I would do anything for some Chinese food, but what I'm doing is for a good cause (except I got the envelope so late that I couldn't do much fundraising)!

Breakfast: pizza slice, double PB sandwich
Lunch: can of fruit punch
Dinner: alternating between Minute Maid Cran-apple-raspberry juice and water

Julie-Thanks for the info on where to snag the elusive chips...and the salsa!!
The nachos recipe sounds like one I'm going to try.

Tracey-dinner went well. I wasn't hungry after I finished dinner though (I had junk because I didn't use many calories earlier ;) )

Amy-yes I did get my TM work out in-less time because the dratted thing kept pooping out on me! I think I'm going to do that again to keep my mind off of food. I'm just glad the rest of my body will catch up because I don't have that much topwise either... I will look for a fruit salsa recipe!

Cam-Thanks for checking in with me!! Now I have to find those baked scoops and salsa!

I've recently become aware of how sweet and salty foods are now. I bought some juice at a gas station so I'd have some variety and it's VERY sweet. I used to be able to chug down a ton of juice, but then I met water and fell in love. It's the same thing with Hot Pockets-I used to love them to death, but now they are extremely salty! What was formerly a ham and cheese pocket is now a "smothered to death in salt and cheese" pocket. I think it's because I haven't been eating a ton of junk food recently and have been snacking on much healthier alternatives.

I'm going to make a quick potty run, and then do a quick TM activity because I'm starting to get hungry. We all have to stay at the church tonight, so I won't be able to talk for awhile!

Hi Jen
I found when i cut down on sugar i can now taste it so easily!
It shows you are eating the right things, so well done :)
Hate to tell you this but i'm having chinese tonight!

And it's over! I did the Famine and made it out alive :) My "break the fast" meal was Chinese dumplings and rice-I figured it was easy to digest but now I'm incredibly full.

No TM and I didn't stay at the church because I was told to be there "after the game" (it was away at on a long trip) so I stayed home, ate nothing and caught up on house!

L: 8 dumplings, rice and water

Hi Jen
Well done for lasting the famine!
Hope you have a great week :)

Yesterday was NOT a good eating day. I woke up in a bad mood, plus my brother's Honors Concert (an hour away) required all of us to wake earlier than necessary (7:00-that's early for us on Sundays) so I didn't even bother to measure my cereal and my yogurt exploded. No church either because we left at 10:00.

I felt better after breakfast, but my brother didn't bother to eat anything and we realize this as we pull in about an HOUR early (10:45). So we look for donut shops and only find a McDonalds' open and serving. In this HUGE city (Toledo) and there is not a donut shop to be found! So we all ate something-I had a Chicken McGrill no mayo and fries.

We sit and wait and hear them play. Lunch comes and we head to Steak and Shake. It is now 12:45-I order what sounds best to me...a Double (no cheese) and a small fries. Ugh.

After the concert (2:30 is when it started), we head to Maggie Moos and I had sorbet with double berries (5:00). Let me tell you, theatre food is expensive. A quick Meijer stop and $100 worth of groceries and water later we hit the road again. We sit through the other half of the concert (7 start time). It ended at 9:30. We're home at 10:30, homework done at 11:00, shower, a 2 hot dog dinner and bed.

Not a good day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today was much better. I woke up feeling better and behaving better.
B:
3/4 cup cheerios
Milk
Yogurt (same as always)
4 ounces OJ
L:
corn dog
15 tater tots
*I just recently discovered our school served salads. I'd known about them but the quality wasn't good. Now it's AMAZING! Grilled chicken, veggies and shredded cheese in ranch heaven. M M Good.
D:
-chicken
-potatoes??
After school activities include Healthy NB Committee (I help the school make healthy nutrition and exercise decisions) till 3:30, practice 3:40 to 6 (including about what felt like 22 runs of the Spanish Panic), and homework still to do.
At least tomorrow there's an early dismissal. :woohoo:
I have also found a new love: Cold Stone Creamery's Strawberry Bananza Smoothies. Oh. My. Gosh! Lost love smoothie, where have you been all my life?!
**Tracey! Thanks for stopping in and hope you have a great week.
