No code associated with anything, but got 40% off room with a great cm

I know a few other posts exist like mine, and they are why I kept on calling, but tonight after calling 3 times last week and 3 times today to find out I'm still on the don't mail/email list, I had a wonderful cm that kept on looking and cross referencing things and with "a little bit of pixie dust" found a 40% off room code for me. Here's what happened in more detail- I called around lunch today to check for a code and see if I was off the don't list, nope still on the list and no code. I called again once I got home to see if I was still on the list, cm said no, but kept on saying I would get mailed all the needed info on my reservation if I booked, she didn't know what I was talking about or didn't want to work with me and was pretty short with me, I let her waste a little of her time and then said thank you, bye. I called back about 10 minutes later, 3rd time is charm, and got a wonderful cm who told me to listen to the radio, watch tv, and look in the newspaper. I told her I had been doing that and was basically trying any way I could to get a code so we could come in Dec for our 10th anniversary and son's 5th b-day and that the last time we went to Disney was on our honeymoon. I then said I had been on some discussion boards and knew of people getting 40% off recently so I was calling and checking often. She said let me get your husband's name and verify your info again, now I had given my husband's name before to check and was told it would pull up all names based on phone number. She talked while she looked, zip code first, then address, phone, yep I see a discount here for you, lets see what it is. Asked if we could come between Dec 7 and 17th, works for us I had told her first two week in Dec so it was great. Told here she went way above any other cm and I really appreciated it. She said I knew about the code and she just found it for me, I think telling her I knew from this board is what did it for me. Checked on resorts and booked.

Here's what we were looking for 6 nights, 6 day ticket for single park per day and no water parks, basic dining plan. We booked Animal Kingdom Lodge, standard view, 2 queen beds for Dec 7th leaving the 13th for $2,085.54. Saved us over $600, price online is $2,692.98. Could also have gotten Port Orleans French Quarter with a water view for $1,842.54 online is $2,287.98.

Since codes are sometimes attached to phone #'s that belong to a person on your ressie, I'm thinking that CM probably found your code attached to your husband before you were married, etc. which of course he still qualifies for. I'm glad someone did some searching around throughout all your past guest information for your family to find just what you needed. I don't think though that you *didn't* have a code but just that it was finally able to be found. Hooray!---Kathy
